Easy Dye, Leather Shoe Color Restore Paint, 404 Platinum, 25 ml

I always use this brand & it always gives a great result.

Worked extremely well on old battered shoes.

Again, like the TRG platinum polish bought at the same time, it would have been five stars, but... The dye has already started to peel off in some areas of the shoes I dyed a fortnight ago (which I diligently prepared exactly as per the very brief instructions). The sponge supposedly included wasn't inside the box, and the box looked mashed (though the outer packaging from Amazon was immaculate - which means someone ought to be checking this stuff before you send it out, Amazon). Otherwise the dye was fine, and I've touched up the peeling areas and the shoes look good again. But really more of a light gold than a platinum - the TRG polish I bought was a truer platinum. Worked well to cover deep red coloured leather shoes - three thin coats done over three days, no show-through of red colour underneath. I had to keep shaking it whilst using it because it settled and separated far too quickly. Still half a bottle left - good value in that respect. I have mixed feelings about whether I'd bother using it again though. It probably works better on handbags as they're not subjected to the same rigours as footwear.

Good product. Dye went on easily. I used a sponge rather than brush. Shoes have a second life!

The pigment is just as illustrated

This dye really covered up the scuffs on my sandals so well. There was one spot on the wedge heal where the leather had gotten scratched off. I filled in that spot with the dye, using a tiny paint brush, and it looks so much better. I applied a couple thin layers over both shoes and really brightened them up. I'm really pleased to know about this product, and ordered a different color to fix up a leather chair in my house.

Dye was running and didn't adhere.

La facilidad de uso y el resultado final. lo he utilizado para teñir unas sandalias de loneta y han quedado perfectas. Muy sencillo de manipular.
