How long does it keep beverages hot and cold?

It keeps my coffee hot for about 2 to 3 hours. It is much better at keeping something cold. I have had soda and ice cubes left overnight and still have the ice solid in the morning.

Is the mug itself dishwasher safe, or just the lid?

I have put both lid and mug in the dishwasher, top rack. Lid is fine. Mug has fine scratches on the blue finish that are starting to become noticeable after severalyears of use.

Is the interior stainless steel?

Yes it is stainless steel on the interior.
