Great work by the author in which he successfully presented the findings of his extensive studies of old scripts in a simple pedagogical way that makes it suitable for any reader. The book is the first of its kind written in Arabic that covers this deep dark area of Qur'an history. I kept feeling surprised and excited with every page I turn by the unknown discoveries that this book reveals and, nonetheless, by the comprehensive analysis made by the author.

This book is an outstanding introduction to a unique and often neglected topic, namely the Qur'anic Manuscripts. Dr. Lamsiah was able to craft a book that is easy to read without compromising the high academic level that Dr. Lamsiah always maintained.This book is an excellent resource for anyone who is interested in this field, and a must read for all the Islamic Studies students.Thank you for this outstanding work, sir.

This scholarly work is needed to properly understand the origins of the Quran from the ancient available manuscripts and the scribes who contributed. One thing I never knew growing up in an Arab country is the extent of changes made to the original manuscripts to fit the later written language development.

Great book, a lot of effort was put into it, the content is shocking to say the least but accurate with references, in my opinion it sheds the light on early Islam and Quran and their evolution
