These new ones work great! The description says it works best with Pepsi products, but I am using it on a storebrand soda bottle and it works great. I do not use the hanger that comes with it though. I have been in the business of making my own birdfeeders because I have bears and it’s way too expensive to replace store-bought feeders every time! So I came up with a way to hang the soda bottles. Get some coated wire, drill a hole in the bottom of the soda bottle so you can barely push the wire through (so water does not leak in). Push the wire all the way through, tie a knot in it pull the wire back through & tie a loop. See pics because that probably wasn’t great instructions!!
