My wife wondered why did I purchase this, “because we might need it one day.” That day came when we recently had our water heater replaced in the hall closet. I grabbed the Toolway and rolled it out on our Italian glossy tile. It “stuck” easy and was so easy to remove. No way plumbers were really going to fully protect my floors. As you see by the photos, the hot water heater, plumbers, and tools on the floor. The Floor Covering did an outstanding job in protection. The Toolway 40' x 45' Floor Protection Roll – Heavy Duty Temporary Floor Covering is one of those items, like emergency lights, backup batteries, etc. you should have on hand. Absolutely deserves 5 Stars.

This came in really handy for some painting and construction projects. Laid this out for about a week and it helped keep paint and drywall mud from sticking to the floor. It was easy to sweep up dust at the end of the day and made overall clean up easier.

Overall decent product. Would recommend for the price point.

Pricey but extremely durable and protective. Ease of installation, it will stick to the floor only after you step on it, so it's easy to roll, align and adjust.

Exceptional product! As a contractor, we get compliments from our clients every time we roll this stuff out on the jobsite. We use it to cling onto floors, bathtubs, furniture etc. before beginning any work; this product makes a clear statement that you care about protecting your client’s floor from unexpected happenings (skids, scrapes, dropped hand tools, dripped glue, dirty/wet boots, etc.). 100% reusable, reliably clings to horizontal & vertical surfaces alike, and I’d recommend it to any contractor who wants to step up their site prep efforts.

Very strong material. Not so sticky on the bottom and edges has a tendency to come up. Will be perfect if taped to floor.

Complete waste of money, garbage product, would not adhere to any surface, stairs were a dangerous slip and fall situation, do NOT use this product unless you want to get sued, use Carpetguard and Builderboard

Great product, I am using it to protect my wood floor from puppy training and it is holding up really well. We've been damp mopping it daily and used sheathing tape on seams. There is enough on the roll that I can apply another protecter once this one stops working but it has been down for a little more than a week and still okay. The edges are not taped to the floor and they are staying down, no rolling or slippage. I am extremely happy with this product and have no doubts that it would perform its intended purpose admirably. We are asking a lot of it and it is very impressive.

Fantastic product. I bought this for a home renovation project, putting it down to protect my floors from lots of activity for drywall, mudding, plastering, and painting. Wow, theyve held up really well and protected my floors beautifully. The material prevents it from slipping against the floor, so it's also safer for the crew walking on it. This was very easy to install. I recommend that you tape all seams, and I just used wide painting tape which will peel; off after this is done. I personally don't have the comparison experience, but the contractor said that this is much easier to install, deinstall and store than rigid board material. I plan to be able to roll it up and store it, making it possible to use it again in the future.

Works exactly as described: excellent adhesion to floors without leaving any residue or otherwise damaging the floors (we used on engineered wood, hardwood, and cork flooring). Waterproof yet non-slippery. Highly recommend.
