There's death amongst a group of actors; Joe must investigate this while keeping an eye on a young woman (with tragedy of her own) who stumbled upon the first body. In addition, a little bit of his back story is revealed. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out.Between this and the Wesley Peterson series (which you should also be reading), Kate Ellis has a lot on her plate, and she pulls all of it off magnificently. She also claims that she was watched by someone that looked like a nun, but the police don't believe her story since she was quite drunk. But Joe Plantagenet feels that the girl may be telling the truth, and then a body is found.I was very happy to be approved for the latest book in the Joe Plantagenet series. I have never read a book in the series before, but I have read a book in her Wesley Peterson series and I loved that book. So, I was looking forward to reading this book very much. I liked Joe Plantagenet, he was an interesting character and the fact that he was supposed to have become a priest instead of a cop (Just like Hathaway in Lewis the TV-series) was intriguing. The story was interesting.
