Perfect Bracket for an Atypical install
Was looking for a simple but sturdy bracket to mount my Hi-Lift jack on the inside of my Lexus GX470. I saw several Jeeps with theirs mounted on their hoods and thought that it would be a perfect way to mount it to my drawer system in the cargo area of the Lexus.Out of the way but secure so it would not act as a "projectile of death" when stopping short or hitting the trails.The brackets are pretty beefy and all the hardware was there in the box that I would need except I had to source some nuts from the local hardware store. This is not an issue with the product as I am using it in an irregular manner. Drilled some holes... put some extra washers i had laying about on the bottom to help with stress and tightened it all down.I did add some rubber washers in-between the metal and the nuts to make sure there weren't and rattling from the hardware. This is a Lexus after all ( LOL ) and standards must be maintained!Only had it done for a few hours but so far so good. No noise and its secure!

Hood mount on 95yj
Fits fine, I was able to use factory hinge bolts on mine. 48" hi-lift jack fit perfect on the mounts. Only thing I would recommend, especially if you 4wheel at all, is to get some lock washers to put under the wing nuts. I had to tighten mine multiple times.

Sturdy! Mount to your truck camper shell (canopy) too!
Sturdy! Can't believe these are cheaper than the competition. I don't own a jeep. I have an F150 with a camper shell/canopy for some of you folks. I wanted to use the wasted space on my bed rails inside the camper shell. Used some clamps, bolted through. It's pretty solid. Highly recommended. Comes with new bolts, but I had no need. Score: 21/10
