This does exactly what it says much more comfortable since I have been using this with my rescue dog at the end of the extending lead much less shock when she decides to dart after something safer for both me and the dog would definitely recommend

Bought this to stop our pup chewing through his more expensive leash. It lasted a few months before he got through it,thankfully that happened in the house when he managed to quietly sneak it away and have a right good go at it without anyone noticing he had it. But to get that long out of it for under a tenner,you can't really complain. Actually in the process of buying another to replace the broken one.

Works as described. Reduces the shock when the dog suddenly decides to rush forward. Here in North London this tends to be when a fox walks out of a garden slightly ahead of us as we walk to the park. The item reduces the jerk on the lead.I was slightly surprised how thin looking the metal clips on the end of the leash are. Not sure how robust they will be over time. But given £7 is a very modest amount to pay for this item, overall durability might be low, and replacement cost worth the value of not being jerked so hard.

This item definitely works, it does take out that jarring jerk when your dog suddenly pulls and for most small to medium dogs it will work fine. I would say a calm dog up to 40Kg is probably it's comfort limit. I have a 10 month old Boxer with a screw loose, dust, leaves and feathers moving in the wind are like a T bone steak to a lion. She is fast and very very strong the tug is not the problem but the end of the lead length is and she is like a car on a bungee rope! The snap at the end is shoulder popping. This device takes out pulling snap and lunging snap but not demented ballistic suicidal end of the line snap. So not for big boisterous, strong, fast and furious dogs in my opinion. I need a bigger, longer and stretchier one. She has tried to chew it off several times too and has withstood her attacks very well. Good construction, material and design. Just not for really strong and big dogs otherwise would have given 5 stars.

I bought this as a sort of reward for the dog. I already use the standard length bungee and it works, when required, very well. But I thought it would be nice if the dog wasn't constantly being kept by my side and had a foot or so in front of me to sniff. I am not disappointed. Very well made and works well. The handle thingy on the standard bungee is now in a position to grab rather than lean down. My dog likes this sort of lead and it is a comfortable walk when used on a harness rather than a collar. The dog is a Labrador. As to addressing the issue of losing stretch. She very occasionally tries to get to cats, pulling constantly is unacceptable. As such the stretch is fine. Just to be clear, anything bungee will ease the pressure on your shoulder but in my experience will not stop the pulling.

This product is poor quality material thes snapped in the first 10 minutes of my walk from my puppy pulling it
