My kids really enjoyed this advent calendar! Good quality pieces that we could use again next year. They also really liked the picture.

A bit of a "mess"!
This was a very sturdy puzzle and the pieces were great. However, several pieces were not in the correct boxes for each day, we were missing a piece in the end, and had a duplicate border piece. For the price of the puzzle, I expect it to be correct!

Missing puzzle piece
In box #1, a piece was missing. Very unsatisfying to complete a puzzle with one piece missing.

I went in over my head just a bit
Ah so, I thought doing a Christmas puzzle would be fun, I have never done a puzzle before. So I wasn't sure what to expect. I love the idea of a puzzle being an advent calendar too. So, first of all, I probably should of tried putting the pieces together from the boxes. My smart idea was to dump them all out and try them that way. I've barely made a dent in this thing and i've been at it for a few weeks. Probably should of started with a smaller simpler one if thats what I wanted to do. Though, I am having a lot of fun trying to piece this thing together. I think this is a great holiday activity to do especially if you want to get a few other people involved to do it. Pretty ambitious of me to try this out, but I love it. I will say though, it looks like the image and the puzzle might look slightly different. Once it is finished I'll edit and add another photo. Otherwise, this is turning into a fun little hobby.

Didn’t realize it was coming from overseas
Once it got here, it was fun to do. My fault for not realizing it was coming from overseas so had to catch up on the days missed

An advent calendar that will become a tradition
I’ve been seeing a number of advent calendars which are very different from the usual chocolate or candy treat each day. I love this idea of a puzzle with many pieces to be constructed over the period of December 1st to December 24th. It is something the entire family can enjoy together. It is wonderful, too, that the puzzle can be taken apart and used year after year thus creating a new Christmas tradition. This puzzle if fairly complicated in that it has 1008 pieces. The puzzle comes in a box with 24 smaller boxes each containing puzzle pieces. You also receive a poster of the puzzle which will guide you if you get stuck.Puzzles are great in that they make you use your brain. They are quiet time toys that an individual or several people can work on together.Puzzle pieces are numbered on the back so you know which pieces go in which boxes when taking the puzzle apart until the next year.I highly recommend this advent calendar puzzle.

Great holiday activity
This is a great holiday activity for the family. I would recommend setting aside a table that the puzzle will live on and slowly assemble it. Everything is numbered which does make assembly straight forward. I appreciate the numbering because it also allows for everything to be repackaged easily (if you want to re-use it or let someone else try it out). The puzzles seem to be well made as well, the pieces don't feel flimsy or anything and the printing is clear. I would say that I think the puzzles might be a bit much for a single child, which is why I say that it is a great family exercise. That being said, I still think this is an excellent product and unique idea, I do recommend it.
