Fantastic product. I take 6 g spread evenly throughout the day (morning, afternoon, evening) to help with mood swings, due to my diagnosis of schizo-affective disorder (similar to bipolar 1).This has saved my life as I no longer experience mood swings. My energy levels are up but not manic at all. I am able to live life on an even keel. I first tried aswaganda in tablet form but find this powder to be a cheaper alternative due to the levels I require- and its organic.I would not recommend taking this product with other products of this nature (if at this dose) such as Maca if you have similar conditions.I am also on a low dose of antipsychotic medication, aswaganda has helped to reduce its side effects and even significantly increased my libido! Aswaganda along with other lifestyle changes, supplements and nutrition has been extremely beneficial. I have talked with my doc and nutritionist who are fine with me taking this. I would advise all people looking to use aswaganda for similar reasons to do the same.

Ashwagandha is a very useful adaptogen. It has a wide range of benefits. I have experienced quicker recovery after long workout sessions, increased mental clarity, reduction in anxiety and I like to stack it with my morning creatine dose. It has to be taken with meals and I find it best to take it after my breakfast. The smell and taste are strong and the optimal dose is around 5-6g a day and it is very hard to mask the taste if you consume it all at once.Indigo herbs always delivers with good quality powders!

This product does work in calming and definitly helps with sleep. But I think I may be allergic! Its either that or my washing powder, I may have been putting too much detergent in the wash. I am going to try not taking for awhile until all the itchy spots disappear. I am rewashing all my clothes with hardly any detergent. Once the spots are away i will take some ashwaghanda to see if they reappear. I really really hope I'm not allergic because the product does actually work. Its very fast acting too, if you drink some down with water, you feel instantly chilled out and sleepy which is what I need sometimes because I have trouble sleeping and my mind is always racing. One night I had an argument with hubby, and usually it takes me ages to calm down, so I took some ash and instantly chilled out to the point of not caring about the argument anymore! I just felt over it and put whatever I was upset about behind me. Great stuff, let's just hope I'm not allergic. I will update in a few wks.

The smell and taste of this product marks it as being of excellent quality and definitely the real thing. I had a blood transfusion following an ulcer bleed and am using it to build my strength up. I like mixing it in juice and found two grams in a shot gave me a real pick up. As well as strengthening and invigorating, it is also calming and relaxing. I love it and will buy again.

This stuff seems to work, it definitely lifts my mood, not sure about the sex drive lol.Tastes a bit like ground up stone or gravel or sand or something, very strange taste.I'm testing out putting it in chicken soup to mask the flavour but that hasn't really worked very well.Note: I'm not sure it will taste good in sweet smoothies either, try at your own risk.

The packet was not full.The powder was only half in the packet otherwise the quality of product was good.

I wanted to try this as was curious and I love herbs, superfoods, etc. Ashwaganda has an interesting taste. It seems to me like an indian spice. I like mixing it into herbal tea, it gives it a really nice edge. The effects are very warming and you can tell it's quite potent...I started with about half tpoon but soon added up to 1 tspoon. I reccomend this herb as it definetely has a positive effect on your physiology that you can feel, it will improve your mood as you gradually take more, but like most things I take I feel the effects rightaway..This is great mixed with other herbal powders as well.

brilliant I could not sleep for days sometimes even with my magnesium and calcium but when I take this with warm water I feel that my stress levels go down and I feel tired about 1 and a half hours after taking, fantastic supplement no need for to take sleeping tablets anymore, I also take their slippery elm product and looks like that's working too!!
