See we just brought home a new weimaraner puppy and he is proving to be smarter than me and has figured out how to open the cabinet doors to get into the garbage. Our kitchen was already covered, but we decided that I was sick of cleaning up the office after the puppy decided to shred every piece of paper he could sink his teeth into. I ordered these not knowing I purchased two garbage cans - boy was I surprised. We ended up putting the second one in the guest bathroom...again to keep the puppy from destruction. The garbage cans are great - they hold garbage well, the foot pedal works. They were a lot cheaper than anything I have seen in the store AND I got two of them = so win win for me. The only reason they didn't get five stars is because the larger can came with a very small dent on it. It was broken and in pieces to the point that I couldn't repair it (the top cover was broken and the bottom had fallen out). Additionally, there was a deep and wide gouge in the mid section of the can that the only thing it was good for was landfill. I order the set of 2. I only received one in my shipment. I had purchased one from a super store and it was was damaged too. Hence the reason why I spent $20 more to get a "good one" from Amazon. I guess the Universe does not want me to buy a metal trash can.
