The effect of the holographic PEY side isn’t super strong but is still present. Please note that I used a glitter filament for my test print, but the rainbow effect is from the build plate.Aside from the holographic effect, the first print I threw at it stuck with no problems and released easily after cooling. It is also leaves the contact surface on the print very smooth.This works well with the “Smooth PEI” plate settings in Bambu studio, you will have to override the code scanner check that happens during print prep.Also, this build surface is very soft so do not use a scraper or tools to try to remove the print as you may damage the build plate!!

Textured PEI side works like a charm - and the opposite side has some kind of holographic confetti looking effect, which can be seen on the bottom side of your finished print (shows better on larger prints). I only do PLA and both sides worked without issue. Great adhesion, and easy to bend and pop off your completed prints.

UPDATE: Leaving the below to show progress of my mistake/lack of accuracy. The seller reached out offering a full refund due to my review. Which is an awesome level of support. I was not even looking for a refund as I definitely use the plates all the time for PLA/PETG. My first use was ASA on a very long tall print that definitely pulled up a corner of the build plate while in the printer. During the discussion with the seller they asked for me to verify thickness between the two brands. The Bambu dual textured PEI plate is ~.55mm, with the RETUXEP smooth/textured plate measuring ~.72mm, and the textured/cf pattern plate ~76mm. So their plates are actually thicker than Bambus. They are definitely more flexible though.The build sheets look to be well fitted to the spring steel plate and work well when used properly. the only issue I have for this product is that no where in its listing is the thickness listed and the reason why I imagine is that it is thinner than the Bambu sold build plates. Most print materials this likely wont be an issue but for anything that warps or shrinks as it cools (ABS/ASA/etc) the plate is so thing that even the smallest of parts can pull the build plate up from the magnet on the printer. Also be careful as some of the ones I have come with sharp edges on the spring steel that you could potentially get cut on or scratch up the printer build area when removing/installing this plate.

Used this with my Bambu Lab X1 Carbon with the stock smooth PEI high temp plate setting. It does throw an error for the bed locator code of course, but you just hit confirm and it's fine.Tip: make sure to wash it with warm water and soap between prints. It sticks perfectly with no glue sticks, etc as long as you do that. I've printed on this probably 20 times already and it doesn't lose the holographic effect at all.Fyi, the holographic coating is pretty soft, so DONT use tools to remove the print. Just let it cool off and flex it to remove.

Bought it as replacement for my P1S PEI plate. Finaly got the adhesion I used to have. Fit printer without issues and since P1S doesn't have fancy Lidar - no issues at all.

I tried everything that everyone said to keep the print on the build plate, but it didn’t work. The first project did, but after that it wouldn’t. I washed it with warm water and soap then used Isopropyl Alcohol. I had to tape the last print on to keep it from moving around the plate. And even then I didn’t see any holographic on the print.

Quality of plate looks great. Removed the protective film and wiped down with warm water and soap (even tried rubbing alcohol), but just can't get the PLA to stick on my X1 car on.Any tips?

Good adhesion on both sides and the holographic effect is cool. Using on Bambu P1P

I have only tested the gold pei side, but wow does that side has solid adherence! Fantastic!

It arrived on time and looked great. Very nice finish.Unfortunately, I could not make my prints stick to it.May try to reorder, maybe it was just this plate.
