So right off the bat I will say that I did read most of the reviews for these bowls. And even after seeing some of the pictures, I still went ahead and purchased them. Now I have to say that I knew that I would not be using these bowls and I was solely buying them for decor. I have several stainless steel shelves in my kitchen, and I was looking for ways to bring some copper tones into the kitchen and the way I found to do that was some copper knives that I have hanging up on a magnetic knife holder and some bowls like this. I also was not looking to spend a ton of money, so that is why I believe these bowls were exactly what I was looking for. I say that because I have owned similar products like this in the past, and just like some of the other reviews will show , I believe if you take these and use them on a daily basis and furthermore, throw them in a dishwasher, and put them in a super hot environment being sprayed with water and being in constant use, then I believe the copper portion of these bowls will eventually fade and peel off. I mean it’s kind of silly if anyone were to look at the price of these bowls, and also understand how these are made that anyone would think that using them on a daily basis, was somehow not going to produce results of the copper portion fading away lol. I mean if you were to buy pure copper bowls, you would be in the hundreds of dollar price range lol. So the price that you’re seeing should automatically tell you that you are not buying pure copper bowls. This really shouldn’t need an explanation. Now, if you were going to use these bowls, similar to how I would use them in a decor sense only or mostly, meaning that you were to use them occasionally and hand wash them then I would assume these are going to last a very, very long time while also looking very good.It’s rather silly of anyone to expect a product like this to stand up to scolding hot water, oils from your hands, food or cooking materials and not believe the look would somehow not l be effected by this.

These bowls could be easy to dent, so, you have to be careful of that. Other than that problem, I love them. I use them quite a bit and haven’t dented one yet, but I can see the possibility, so, I’m careful. My kitchen is accented with copper and these bowls add nicely to the decor.

Copper color is only “paint” that peels off with use.

The large bowl arrived dented but I popped the dent out and kept it anyway, so that was my first warning sign. After that the coating on the bowls chipped away, and the bowls are completely scratched up. Pretty but not long lasting
