Q: If I put this on my firebox, will it hold up or will it melt?

Q: can this be used to seal the dome lid of a brinkman smoker

I use it on my 2 door stand up smoker. As long as it does not touch direct flame you can seal any grill you like in my opinion. PS i put a lighter to it and it does not catch, it just shrinks.

Q: Can this product be bent around the edge of metal 180 degress and not rip or tear? Thanks

yes it will not rip or tear unless it is constantly chaffing.
