Ideal to strap my legs on the footplate of my powerchair ( my condition means my legs shoot off when going over ramps etc.)I was a bit confused at first because the strap comes in 2 parts - but this turned out to be ideal feeding each 1/2 strap around the powerchair legs.

This is very simple and straightforward. It's two pieces of hook and loop ('Velcro') faced webbing that can be threaded through the back frame of a wheelchair. You will need a gap between the back rest and the frame to fit this easily. Once threaded through and fixed in place you have two lengths of webbing that pass across the front of the wheelchair user and act as a lap belt.I'm UK dress size 16, and was able to do this up easily over thick, bulky clothing.It's my estimation that this will fit up to a forty inch waist. If you are too big for a standard size wheelchair, this will be too short for you.I'm an occasional wheelchair user, I felt safe and secure with this, but was able to release it quickly.Useful if your wheelchair is supplied without a belt, as they are necessary for novices, in my experience.

I tried having a belt with a buckle on hubby's chair, but that didn't work as when he'd unbuckle it the plastic bits were broken in the large wheels. I find this great because the velcro confuses him, he has dementia, and it doesn't have any adverse problems when it catches in the wheels. Love it, really makes it safe for hubby!

My son didn't want one of these but a couple of falls from his chair was enough to persuade him. We all feel more relaxed when ises it.

Per l'uso che devo farne io è ottima. La mia paziente si regge da sola con la schiena ma ha paura quando saliamo e scendiamo le scale in carrozzina. Co questa cintura si sente piú tranquilla.Facile da indossare, anche sciolta non interferisce con la sedia.

Nella scheda mancano del tutto i dettagli e dall'immagine si evince poco ma anche andando un po' alla cieca è esattamente ciò che cercavo. Per comodità degli altri utenti aggiungo la descrizione sulla confezione: "Cintura da assicurare alla sedia a rotelle con un gancio a passante per ogni lato. Si chiude attorno alla vita dell'utente tramite velcro. Per girovita fino a 120 cm (48") Non indicata per l'utilizzo su veicoli, serve per contribuire ad evitare che l'utilizzatore si rovesci quando supera degli ostacoli".

Ottima, montaggio immediato e evita che in caso di brusco arresto della carrozzina per esempio per una buca o sasso il disabile cada. È solo addominale quindi non adatta per chi non è in grado di sostenersi dritto autonomamente.
