Very high quality product, well designed and well worth the asking price. It works perfectly well and offers flexibility and reliability. If you are after a digital audio converter, investing a bit more than what a basic converter costs will bring you a lot more for your money. Highly recommended.

the power supply has adapters for different countries . . . the pin alignment is that good but with a bit of fiddling around finally got it to make a good/secure contact

Superb product, I'd been using a cheaper product but kept getting audio stutters and drop outs. Zero problems with this, just works perfectly! Lovely bit of kit.

Does what it needs to do. I have it connected in the past to blu ray player and Sky HD+ box and more recently Tivo box. Only issue is you have to flip a switch to transfer the line

My application is to switch batween an optical and a coax digital input, into a coax output. In this, it seems to work perfectly. It is also very compact - roughly matchbox size.

On the face of it, very convenient and does the job, though actually not all that easy to use because of the selector switch being difficult to see and to operate if the unit is stowed in a hi-fi cabinet, and there being no easily visible indication as to which input is selected. However, listening yesterday to CDs of particularly revealing natural soundscape recordings of mine, I found that this unit was causing a distinct dip in the 'presence' frequencies, giving the recordings a rather vapid unfocused sound, with the higher treble sounding artificial because it was not properly connected to the rest of the sound. I thought such a thing couldn't happen, for the unit should just be passing on the digital bits, but I tried listening to several of my recordings, with and without this unit in the line, and the difference was consistent. I was using expensive high-grade Toslink cables too. This problem would not necessarily be noticed by regular listeners to music recordings, but it really shows up with certain types of natural soundscape, such as sea, streams and waterfalls. I have therefore turned out this device, and am not seeking another make, because most likely I'd get some sort of sound degradation again, even if different. That means that I'll have to forego playing my Fiio X3 through my hi-fi system, so it in turn is of little potential use to me. Shucks!

I bought the CYP AU-D2 to connect my new TV to some Meridian DSP33 active speakers. I have the optical-in running from the TV, the coax-in running from the Hi-Fi and just one coax-out running to the speakers. This device allows me to quickly switch between Hi-Fi and TV. The sound quality is exceptional, I've not noticed any drop in sound quality from my Hi-Fi and the sound from the TV is great. The DSP33's are excellent speakers so are a great test of the AU-D2's capabilities. The only negative thing I've noticed is a little bit of static build up on the cabling since installing this device. Not enough to drop this to 4 stars though.

I had bought a cheaper product on ebay and experienced nothing but problems. This converter was more expensive but worked straight out of the box and there have been no issues. Excelent build quality.

Achat consécutif à la suite d'une mauvaise orientation d'un ESynic -comme son nom l'indique - qui ne transfère que dans un sens -de l'optique vers le numérique- acheté pour rien ; merci à l'entreprise ! Aucun problème avec celui-ci qui conjugue un bon fonctionnement et un emplacement très limité . Vraiment très bien.

Ottimo convertitore l'ho collegato al televisore lg col toslink e il digitale coassiale al amplificatore philips. Funziona perfettamente. Questo dispositivo ti permette di bypassare eventuali buchi in frequenza degli aux audio. Nel mio caso avevo un buco a 600 hz di vari dB sui segnali analogico.

Acheté en décembre 2016.. N a pas tenu 1 an !!! Quelquechose a cramé à l intérieur.. Il ne fonctionne plus ! Passez votre chemin !
