Very nicely constructed heater. Be advised it is Less heat output than the 'hi-hat' types but far more visually appealing. If you really need the max heat vs. a nice rounded experience and conversation piece than pass. Embossed design on the flat panels give it the appearance of ghost flames so nicer than others with plain flat panels. Glass tube is larger diameter than previous models and makes the flames even nicer. Takes about an hour to assemble which includes looking at the directions. Be sure to at least read the first few pages of the instructions as the first parts of the frame can be assembled upside down if not careful. If you see similar units at outdoor bars or decks this is much nicer as those are likely the smaller diameter tubes. If you need to relocate the heater, I suggest taking the propane tank out first. Very happy with it.

I use this mostly for looks when hanging out, and just to take the chill out when needed. It is quiet, doesn't use lots of propane, and looks amazing when lit, even on low. It lights easily with the electronic ignition, and you don't have to hear the loud pop that the mechanical ones do. It also is not nearly as tippy as the other common design patio heater, it's very stable by design. You don't have to worry about kids touching the wire guard and burning themselves, because it's not too hot at the bottom. I will say that it's probably more decorative than functional; if you need maximum heat there are other options out there, but everything is a compromise. I absolutely love this heater, it's nice just to sit around it. It's kinda like sitting around a campfire or a good fireplace. If you want a really cool accent to sit around that doesn't require any wood or smoke, I don't think you can do any better than this right here.

This is the Best Pyramid Heater we have owned. The full stainless steel keeps it looking great and rust free. The product works great and was easy to assemble with great instructions. After installation, the heater immediately came on and provided excellent heat for our outdoor patio. I also had an issue with a broken glass and damaged heat deflector that happened after I had used the heater and the East Oak team provided excellent customer service and replaced both. Great product and excellent customer service!

Heater looks great and works well. Assembly was easy because of the nice instructions. Had a minor issue after one month that was my fault. The customer support team was great. Got the needed part from them and installed it.

UPDATE: 7-25-24: I LOVED THIS HEATER! I used this 4 times before a bad storm broke the glass piece in center. I sent 5 emails and left 4 voice mails for the company asking how I can buy the glass piece separately. ZERO responses and now I had to schedule a trash pickup to get it recycled. Waste of $350 bucks! :( Original review: My family and I love this heater for our winter lunches and dinners. Been Very helpful this year and appears to be very sturdy! Took a couple tries to light until I actually read the turn on procedure. It's similar to turning on a pilot light on an older furnace. Want a couple more for larger groups :)

Very pretty, but barely gives off any heat

I would have given this heater a 5 start review. It went together very easily (as long as you follow the instructions of course) and started right up after I leak tested it. Now the reason I am not rating this 5 stars is color. The main reason we bought this one is the photo's appear to show a white set of bases. My wife is quite sensitive to color, being an artist, and really for sure did not want black and was not really happy with all the other shiny silver/stainless steal ones on amazon. Low and behold we see this picture and think wow white... buy it!! Of course after I get it assembled (the last steps are to put on the bottom panels) I find it is silver. Looking very closely at the pictures I can see it was in a room being photo'ed with a bright white back-drop so it looked white :-( It is lovely with the rippled sides and we will test it out the next few weeks here in Florida, but I am quite disappointed that I was fooled into thinking I had snagged a white heater ... we probably would have bought this one anyway from all the choices, I just would have liked to know that it *was not* white!!

I purchased the repair patio heater when my wife saw it. She loved it and ordered one herself. We have a huge back patio and we ordered it during the holiday season and everyone was asking about it. We had a small issue a technical issue so I reached to East Oak customer service, Junniel handled the problem, professionally and efficiently. The customer service was extraordinary. They took care of the issue immediately kudos goes out to East Oak customer service department.
