Works with my 49" ultrawide monitor unlike other switches - Good Value
I bought this so that I can switch between my laptop and desktop. One good thing to note is that this is compatible with a 49" ultrawide gaming monitor (2560 x 1600 is what I'm using now). I bought this because my old KVM switch did not support my new monitor. This is a compact solid switch which is hard to beat for the price. One thing that I did was use my laptop docking station to provide multiple ports so that everything could be connected to the KVM switch since there are only two other inputs. So if you have a webcam, scanned and printer you won't be able to connect all three since there are only two other inputs and both are USB 3.0 i believe. In summary, is works well, is pretty cheap and has good resolution for work and web browsing.

HD am I?
Connectivity and functionality are awesome. Makes it easy to switch between my machines. I enjoy the ability to minimize my need for wires and mouse and keyboard going everywhere. This simplifies my home lab greatly.

Gets the job done.
I used this in an office setting where two employees share a computer monitor, keyboard and mouse but need two separate computers because one employee is working from home while the other is in the office. They work in different industries and couldn’t share a computer. The instructions for setup were a little unclear but with persistence, I was able to set up and the switch works perfectly. You do need to use ALL the cables included to make everything work. I originally only used the HDMI and the keyboard and mouse didn’t work. My error. I also appreciate the dongle that allows the switch button to be unobtrusive on the desktop. The switch is tucked in with the other ugly cords and only the little dongle button is on the desktop. I am very happy with this after only one day of usage. I deducted one star for bad instructions.

Works great, easy to install but .....
After watching a couple videos about this KVM switch on YouTube I made the purchase. I wanted it to use with my M2 Macbook Air and my Windows desktop PC. It was easy to install, managing the placement of all the cables was the most difficult part. I wanted to use my existing keyboard, mouse and 27" monitor for both the Mac and Windows computer. The one thing I discovered and you need to be aware of is for the system to work, you need to have BOTH computers set to display the same resolution. My Macbook screen has a native resolution of 1470 x 956 and the Windows system is a HD1920 X 1080 resolution. What I had to do is set up the Mac so the resolution changes to 1920 X 1080P when connected to the KVM switch and with that done, everything works perfectly. There is about a 5 second lag while switching between computers but as long as you know that that is normal operation you will be fine. Note that as soon as you disconnect the laptop, the native resolution is automatically returned to normal. Reconnection the Mac to the KVM switch will automatically go back to whatever you changed it to to work with the desktop display. There is nothing in the manual that explains all this or if there is, I just didn't look for it.

Serious design flaws - and not a real KVM switch
It works - but not like KVM switch should. it is not really a switch but more a hub - computer every time thinks you plug and unplug mouse, monitor and keyboard - really annoying. I use it to have 2nd monitor on my media computer. but every time i have to switch computers - my media computer "forgets" it has second monitor and pulls all things opened on second monitor to main monitor, totally rearranging and cramping things. So, while it works - this is a bad KVM switch. But it could be also much more user-friendly, if not for bad design details.1) Writing on main box is so tiny (and also black on black) that it is very hard to see what is what. Lots of space, so it is just bad inconsiderate design.2) while on main box (which is designed to be rather hidden, with all cables going in and out) there are 2 LED lights showing which computer is activated - there are no such lights on switch box, making it difficult. one needs to move mouse to see what works and what does not. I would rather see no lights on main box, but lights on switch box. Again - bad design.3) switch box is black and looks like a small box without any markings. Switch button is same black, same texture, It is VERY hard to see the button if you - like me and many professionals - work in a bit dimmed environment. Box just looks black, and it is a struggle to find button. To show you what I mean I attach a photo of this totally black switch box, and my old KVM switch, that clearly showed button and also - with led light - which computer is active. Now imagine seeing it in a darker room with bright monitor nearby. looks totally black. While my old one will be always visible as it should.Makes HUGE difference. Really annoying.Additionally, but a bit less important - cable for switch box is very thick and box is very light. so it stays where cable wants it to stay, not where YOU want it to place. So, several small details point to total lack of consideration for actual use on desktop.Shame, as this could be a nice KVM switch at no extra expense to manufacturer, if someone would actually try to make it practical to use.I would return it, but i brought it abroad with me, and can't ship back.

Works great!!
Works exactly as described. The video is not as great as I expected. It works well for my Linux systems. I would not use this item for gaming. All in all it does what it says it will. Very easy to set up and use. The remote button is a great addition to have.
