Amazing Entry-level Razer Mouse for FPS
I mainly bought this to try out the Viper V3 lineup, and considering that I'm making a switch from the Basilisk V3 Pro, boy is this mouse LIGHT. I used to be hard-stuck on the hill that mouse weight doesn't affect your aim, and I was proven wrong by this mouse, I instantly performed better when playing on FPS Shooters. My experience with this mouse is what drove me to go buy the Viper V3 Pro, and I can confidently say that I have no regrets. Things I liked about the Viper V3 Hyperspeed: - Despite Its Large Size, Extremely Lightweight - Comfortable Shape - Virtually No Wireless Interference - Scroll wheel feels tactile and rolls in distinct steps Cons/Gripes I Have: - Did Not Come With An Adapter (You'll need to plug into PC directly which may affect connectivity) - Weight Is Heavier Than Viper V3 Pro even without the battery (Still Very Light, But Something to Keep in Mind) Overall a great quality mouse to enter the lightweight archetype of gaming mice without spending too much money. Its cons mostly come from its price and how it's intended to be entry-level.

Excellent Mouse for Everyday Use
This is an excellent, reasonably priced gaming and productivity mouse. I say productivity because that's what I use it for: work. It's reliable, quiet, fast, and looks reasonably good. I have one at home and one at work. If I had more PCs, I would have more of these. Please buy it immediately.

Fantastic Mouse – Lightweight, Stylish, and Reliable!
I’ve been using this mouse for a little while now and I’m genuinely impressed. First off, it's super lightweight, which makes it really comfortable for extended use—whether I'm working, browsing, or gaming. The design looks sleek and modern, so it fits perfectly with my setup. One of the small details I love is the click sound—it's satisfying without being too loud or annoying. And most importantly, it works flawlessly. Smooth tracking, responsive buttons, and no lag at all. Overall, a great purchase. If you’re looking for a dependable mouse that performs well and looks great doing it, this is definitely it!

Good mouse IMO
Lag sometimes. Possibly software related. The dongle is about 3 feet away from the mouse. sometimes it acts completely disconnected. I don't like Razer software. I think it is overly taxing on hardware and confusing for the user. It does work better than RedDragon in my experience as sometimes with RD, the software is completely incorrect about what it is doing. Razer hardware is good though. The mouse feels buttery to use and I legitimately feel like i have more precision and control in shooters since switching from LG and RD. It was immediately noticeable, but keep in mind, this is a high end sensor (supposedly my LG had a hero sensor) So i'm very happy as long as the connection is stable and the software is not bugging.

A preference based knockout
To begin- I should state that I've been in the mouse community for a few years now and I've purchased mice from many different brands, big or relatively little. I've used Razer, Logitech, SteelSeries, Zowie, Corsair, Glorious, Pulsar, etc. I always seem to find myself coming back to either Razer or Logitech for specific needs that other brands don't necessarily offer. I have a lengthy history with Razer products, and that includes their Viper line of mice. I've owned the original, the mini, the ultimate edition, the 8khz wired release, as well as the Viper V2 Pro. There was one thing that kept my away from these mice for so long- shape. The original Viper mice, while excellent, weren't good for me comfort wise. The hump wasn't pronounced enough, and the curvature on the sides would cramp my hand every single time. I know, I know- why keep buying a mouse with a shape that makes you uncomfortable? Best answer: I like symmetrical mice, and other than shape, the Viper was/is amazing. Enter the V3 Hyperspeed! I was leaning towards 4.5 stars, but since I can't post a half star I'm comfortable rounding up. The V3 boasts a few changes that, in my personal opinion, are upgrades. The sides of the mouse are less aggressive with their curvature and I found them to be much more comfortable for my hands which are roughly 20x11. They've also done away with any worry of your ring finger clipping the side of your secondary click. They gave this mouse the same treatment the Deathadder V3 pro received. Weight isn't bad at all. It's around 82-83 grams with the included alkaline aa battery. I was able to get it down to a comfortable 70ish by using a lithium aaa and a separate aaa to aa conversion kit. This can be reduced even further by placing a small piece of aluminum foil between the battery(+) and the mouse's contact point. And another point to add- batteries. This mouse is NOT rechargeable, and it does NOT come with any included cables. For some this may be a deal breaker, but for me it's perfect. I don't mind rechargeable mice, but with 4K polling becoming the new " standard " I imagine constant charging could be a nuisance. However, there's a kit on here from PowerOwl that contains 8 aaa batteries and a charging system. I paid around $30 for the rechargeable lithiums and the aaa to aa converters in total. The converters came in a 10 pack so that was nice. This mouse is paired with my Hyperpolling dongle which can be purchased separately, or bundled together with this mouse when purchased from Razer. This. Thing. Is. Insane. When it comes to tracking accuracy I have absolutely nothing bad to say. The Focus Pro 30K in this mouse is the same sensor found in their flagships. Kudos to Razer for implementing that into their Hyperspeed line, which is widely recognized as their budget tier lineup. A few grievances of mine are that M2 ( right mouse click ) is considerably light. It might just be a case of heavy finger, but I found myself accidentally actuating the click at times. The side buttons are different in the fact that they are separated and have a bit of space between them. This is a good change, but I utilize M5 ( front side button ) as a Hypershift key, and it makes it a bit more difficult to hit M4 due to that split in distance. If you don't use Hypershift, then this should be of no concern. My copy has no creaking on the shell, no severe rattle, and the clicks are very crisp. I attribute that to the Gen 2 mechanical switches Razer are using in this mouse. For $70 you can't beat this, in my opinion! You're getting an insane amount of performance for a reasonable price. Pair this with a 4K polling dongle, grab some lithium rechargeable batteries, a few converters and you'll be fragging without the worry of cable drag in no time! Final score: 4.5/5 Amazing job, Razer!

Great Buy - Highly Recommended
After using the Razer Viper V3 HyperSpeed, I can confidently say that this mouse is an almost flawless choice for FPS gaming. Coming from mechanical switches, I was curious to try optical switches, and I must admit—they feel amazing. The clicks are crisp, fast, and incredibly responsive, making every shot in FPS games feel instant and precise. The lightweight design is perfect for quick movements, yet it doesn’t feel flimsy. The ergonomics are well thought out, and despite not having a fixed grip style, I found it comfortable and easy to adapt to. The sensor performance is top-tier, tracking flawlessly even in intense moments. Another highlight is the HyperSpeed wireless connection—it’s as close to wired performance as you can get. No noticeable input lag, just smooth, consistent performance. Battery life also seems solid, which is a plus for long gaming sessions. While it doesn’t have RGB lighting, I personally don’t mind, as it keeps the design sleek and focused on performance. For anyone looking for a high-quality, ultra-responsive gaming mouse, the Razer Viper V3 HyperSpeed is practically perfect. Rating: 9.8/10

Pleasantly surprised how good it is
For years I have been a fan of the Razer Viper series. I've had a wired version, and now 3 of the original wireless Viper ultimate's, and now this one. I liked the wireless so much even though my wired version still works I bought the first 2 ultimate's to replace it. This is so I had one at home and one at work. Well I lost one of them on a work trip and after years one of them stopped worked (not sure what happened) but it was pretty old at that point). I keep buying the old ultimate version because I like the side grips and don't mind the slight weight increase they bring. The old version is typically cheaper than the newer one anyway and I don't mind the slight weight increase it probably brings. While this version is slightly heavier than my old ultimate and doesn't have the side grips. It's still lighter than many mice out there and still easy to pick up without the side grips. I will spend a little more for the ultimate for my home mouse because I still like it better and it is lighter weight. But for work this is more than sufficient and was much cheaper. The viper series has been known to be one of the top rated mice on the market for years and I will continue to buy it for years to come. Also I don't care about the RGB so its nice this one doesn't come with any. The only downside of that is that its harder to tell when its low on battery. Guess you could say its a double edged sword. The only downside I have to this mouse is I think they removed the side buttons on the right which I frequently used to refresh web pages. But I don't feel the need to do that as often as I used to so I think its a compromise I am willing to make here especially for the price. This is still the most comfortable mice I've ever used, super smooth tracking, built quality is good, and you don't have holes in the mouse which would allow dust to build up inside (let alone if you spilled something in there or had food on your hands. For gaming I'm sure its pretty good although since I use this at the office I haven't tried that yet. But for the price I don't think you can beat this.
