This is a well made and very sharp knife. It comes with a leather sheath for safe storage.. Great for cutting meats and vegetables.

Surprised at how nice the quality

I've always enjoyed nice knives and thought I had to pay a lot for them. I received this knife and was immediately surprised at the steel. The blade to handle fit is a little rough, as the tang sticks out of the handle a bit. However, nothing to knock it for considering the price. Time will tell on the longevity of the blade, but if it's high carbon like it says I think this will last a while. My concern is more the handle. The knife is a great size for slicing. I wouldn't say it would replace a chef knife, but as a slicer it works well. I used it to slice a brisket and it was sharp and handled well. I would definitely recommend this knife, especially considering the price.
