Sunco 10 Pack PAR20 LED Bulb, Flood Light, E26, 7W=50W, Track Lighting

I was hesitant to buy these after reading reviews about longevity and flickering. I have 9 ceiling lights in my kitchen where I had some old Philips LEDs that lasted nearly forever. But when one burned out, I could only find an exact replacement for like $38 online. I tried some newer Philips bulbs from Amazon that looked identical and cost $5 each. They flickered like crazy, so I sent them back. I then decided to check the dimmer (3 way) to find it was not an LED dimmer (but was a good one -Lutron). I replaced it with an LED dimmer from Lutron. Then I decided to try these Sunco bulbs. They arrived. I put them in all 9 fixtures and they worked like a charm. They actually seemed brighter than the old Philips bulbs, so I dimmed them a bit for everyday use. Not a single one had any trouble working out of the box. Time will tell on longevity, but I was thinking of buying another 10 to keep on hand as backups. The price is very reasonable. And I get good vibes that Sunco stands behind their products.

I have been buying LEDs for many years and yes, they do last much longer than Incandescent/CFL, but take that longevity marketing figure with a grain of salt as you will still have a small percentage of failures. I have a restaurant with probably 150 can lights and I am very pleased with these lights based on luminosity and rarity of replacement. Years ago, I would replace various incandescent lights 3-5 times a week. After replacing everything with these I probably replace 1 or 2 every few months or so. This in not to mention the 80-90% reduction in Watts and heat output! The old halogen lights above the bar running at 100W+ each acted like heat lamps and would burn out very often. After switching to these above the bar (slightly different model, but same manufacturer) I think I have replaced one in 2 years and saved 650 Watts there alone. I also use the on the exterior and went with 5000k (from yellow light) and made the building look like new!

Sorry for the "authoritative" tone, below. I'm not a light bulb authority nor an LED geek.... but... I have spent a lot of time in discussion with people who are both :) I must say, a bunch of four star reviews left me shaking my head... Taking a star off because they're small (in diameter)? Jeepers. Par20 is the *SIZE* These bulbs are the correct diameter. I'll stake my tape measure's reputation on it. Some folks took a star or two off because these bulbs are made in China. Well, mommy and daddy were waiting for the right time to tell you... that's where LED's come from!! (some are assembled in the USA from overseas parts, however). And someone else was disappointed because the bulbs didn't glow reddish, like an incandescent (traditional) light bulb does, as it dimmed. Yes. I guess that person never used an LED bulb before? ... and they're taking it out on the bulb rather than their own inexperience? Behind these bulbs is/are a seller and a distributor and a manufacturer... and lots of People. They all deserve our fairness. I think I'm informed, and I'm trying to be fair... so here goes: The bulbs are nice. I'm buying more. They aren't great, but they're inexpensive compared to the competition, so I'm going with them. The bad: I wish that the 2700K version was warmer in color... more like a dimmed incandescent... but they're not. I doubt that they are actually 2700K in "color temperature"... because most manufacturers exaggerate this specification... but I have no way to measure it right now. The Title says Flood (which means wide-beam) and the Description says spot (which means narrow-beam). They can't both be right. In fact, I'd say they're in-between. I wish they were wider... and spread the light out further, like a flood light, but they don't. They're not spots, either, thank goodness, since that would look funny coming from the recessed lights in my home... creating circles of light on the floor... They're SHORT. These bulbs are a half inch smaller than the bulbs they're replacing. This is a bummer for me because they don't extend to the edge of the bezel of my (standard) light fixtures and I can see more of the inside of the fixture because of this. Its a sloppy look, but it is only noticeable when staring at a lit lightbulb. The good: They're cheap. They are a reasonably ok (white) color -- for an LED. I haven't had any dead-on-arrival nor any burnouts, and I've bought about 20. You can return them if you don't like them. Hope this helps. Buy American. Be kind to your eyes. Conserve energy. Change bulbs less often. Recycle the box. Floss :)

Our new apartment has recessed lighting, but the lights are a very sterile bluish white. These emit a clean warm light that’s perfect for our kitchen and dining area. Bright enough but not blinding. And since they’re on a dimmer, perfect control of the mood. And everyone’s skin looks better, of course.

So glad I found these. Been trying to replace my old incandescent PAR20s with modern LEDs but they all seemed not quite like the original ones, Color wise & performance wise, they also did Not espond well to dimmers, not like the originals. Took a chance on these & they're Great. work incredibly smoothly with regular Lutron dimmer (all lights should be on dimmers, no reason not to) & side by side with the old one (I still have a few in place) you cannot tell them apart. For me Soft White is perfect, ordering 2 more boxes which should last a very very long time.

I was looking for flood light bulbs that won't harm my outdoor plants when left on at night. These lights were my answer. I had purchased stronger bulbs and my plants started dying from the heat. The strength on these is a lot lower. They seem to be working fine. I also bought a timer to make sure they turn off 4 hours after it turns dark. My plants are happy and so am i.

Con qué dimmer trabaja el foco porque los probé con un dimmer que ya tengo y los focos fallan y en la caja dice que es con Leviton.

Lightbulbs last a good amount of time and are much cheaper than Home Depot.

low wattage. save energy. good quality so far. just got them a couple of weeks ago, so we don't no about longevity

Demasiado brillo (parecen de 60 watts) y demasiado blancos; no son de 2700K. Parecen de 5000K. Luz de día.
