Quiet, Efficient & Good Value
Yes, recommend. Good value for the price. Works efficiently to reduce humidity levels. It's quiet as well. Multiple settings. Wheels make it easy to move. Note, although the tank is a decent size, it's not as large as you may think. Be prepared to empty the tank if not using the drain tube option. Otherwise, shut-off valve works, so no leakage when tank is full. Units with significantly larger tanks also tend to be much more expensive. Something to consider when making a purchase decision.

Great dehumidifier!
This dehumidifier works great! Quiet. Bought a longer hose from our local ACE hardware store so that it would drain into our laundry room drain from our family room. Have had no difficulties.

Drainage hose does not work - unit quickly fills and overflows or turns itself off
Edit: The quickly seller offered a refund for which I am thankful. I've tried and tried but still can't get it to drain properly, but I appreciate the refund nonetheless. I'm now shopping for another unit.----I purchased this dehumidifier to replace a 15-20 year old unit we had in our basement where we tend to get some moisture. I set it up to drain via the hose into a floor drain that contains one of our sump pumps. The unit continually failed to drain via the hose and would instead quickly fill up and either leak on the floor or turn itself off. I've tried positioning the hose in all sorts of different ways to get water to consistently flow from the unit, but no luck.. it continues to fill and leak or fill and turn off. Needless to say, this will be returned. If you have minimal moisture and it's in a location where you can frequently empty the tank, it does the job, but if not, the hose has proved to be completely useless. Buyer beware.

Bought in March... doesnt work by july
Just what the headline says. I bought it in april, and have been using it since then. For the last 2 weeks it has not been working properly. i think it might be stuck on "drying mode." The light for drying mode stays on now, even when switching to other modes. only runs for a few minutes before cutting off, even though the room is not at the set humidity. very disappointed with the product considering how much i paid for it.

Not all functions work, and in highest mode not extremely effective
Not all options on this unit work. But the drying mode (highest setting) does, though not super effectively. Placed in basement of house under 1500sqft in region where summer humidity levels are often quite high. Set at drying mode (the highest setting), it took several days before level was brought down to 60%. Kept running at that mode for several weeks, humidity levels rarely brought below 60, and never lower than 55. Did end up buying another brand, beginning with V. Less than $100 more and much more effective in quickly bringing and keeping humidity to 40s and 50s levels. It's also louder though and (comparing packaging between the two) contains a refrigerant that this one does not (unless I missed it in the packaging). This Airplus unit would probably work well in an air conditioned living area, to lower humidity without making a room freezing cold. But I wouldn't recommend for basement use in a humid area.
