Update: I bought these last april and they were great, but this september I ordered another bag and they were spoiled. Hopefully it's just the one bag. I'll try again in a month or two and see if the problem is resolved. Quite a bit different than normal jerky. Less seasoning and quite a lot thicker, but tasty! Less expensive than the big-brand stuff so it gets points for that too 5/5 for great quality to value ratio!

I ordered this because I was craving jerky and I didn’t want to go to Costco. I’ve tried these beef strips from Costco before and they’re delicious! I was afraid after ordering seeing the other reviews. I opened mine and was tantalized by the peppery smoked scent of delicious beef strips! There was no weird colour to them. No off scent. You gotta remember these are not jerky. They’re strips of delicious dried and smoked beef. They’re not as glossy as real beef jerky. Anyways I had nothing wrong with mine lol. I had a 10 dollar credit so I didn’t mind paying the 17 dollars for the bag. Even at 17 dollars you get quite a lot of beef strips! I’d totally order these again. Amazon has amazing customer service if there’s anything wrong :)

Generally talking, this is a good product, moist but not seasoned enough, to my taste. So I've added some MSG, pop-corn seasoning and chili powder to make up for my taste prefs. One day later... huge taste improvement! Anyway, I'd go ahead and get it again, spicing it to my taste.

These are so good that they are bad. You can't leave them alone. Awesome flavour, texture and taste. I bet you can't eat just one. It's not like you are chewing shoe leather as with some products. It chews like a piece of steak cooked on a BBQ. Chewy like meat but moist. Don't know how they do it but job WELL DONE!!! Problem is that these make good snacks... that you can't put down. Never tasted anything like these. Just one word to describe them.....AWESOME.......

I recently tried the Kirkland Signature Steak Strips Extra Thick Cut, and while I appreciated the hearty texture of the meat, I found the flavor to be a bit too sweet for my taste. The second ingredient being brown sugar might have contributed to this. Personally, I prefer a spicier flavor profile, so this product wasn't quite what I was looking for. However, if you have a sweet tooth and enjoy thick and chewy beef strips, this could be a great snack or addition to your meal.
