Review: Our Standard Schnauzer is 5 yrs. old and still quite rambunctious, but even more so when she was a puppy. We got her soon after moving into our new house that unfortunately had rather slick flooring. Because she was small at the time, it didn't pose a noticeable problem, until she attempted to toss her ball down the stairs and catch it before it got to the bottom. Her back paw slipped and she took a little tumble. Unfortunately, her hip was sore for a while. We took her to the vet and they didn't think it was bad enough to warrant anything but a few days of Carprofen and confinement. In a week she seemed to be fine, but as time went on, we noticed that it was giving her issues, usually due to slipping on the floor or on ice (once) after a big snow.
