Has anyone used this on an outdoor grill?

Are these made from Plastic or metal? I need plastic

Their own description is "heat treated mesh" and that's just how they feel. I'm not a scientist but it's definitely not metal. I don't think you could scratch anything with these even if you tried. Are you confused by the Amazon advert description saying stainless steel ? That's one of the surfaces which it's safe to use on. Someone made a typo :)
