The chess set is of highest quality of craftsmanship, the appearance is excellent. The size is made for who appreciate the game (15inch) and good enough for tournament entry size. The pieces are made with attention to detail, balanced weighted for easy play. It is a masterpiece that could be passed on. The chess set comes with a cover which is good enough to protect the set.

Beautiful chess set. Packaging is particularly luxurious - feels like a premium item so great for a gift. Pieces are beautifully crafted and board sits flat. Small inconsistencies in the squares as others have mentioned but nothing offensive. Pieces are ever so slightly on the light side but again, nothing too noticeable and perfect for the price point.

This chess set is genuinely beautiful. He build quality seems excellent, especially at this price point. The pieces are a little light for my taste but they form a nice light set with the board for travel etc. I was a little nervous from a few other reviews but the set I received was almost exactly as shown in the pictures and a really nice set to use regularly. Thanks

very beatiful design and high quality. The material does not seem to be walnut and I suppose walnut refers to the colour. but the design is pretty nice. Also figures are quite standard and nice (the same as the size of chess board)

Product that is advertised as premium, but quality of the board is not even basic. Attaching photos where you can see that lines of black and white fields are not matching, and this is something I would expect even from the cheapest chess board.
