Such a FUN puzzle for my fiance! He has been a gun collector for ages and the AK47 is one of his favorites so I figured he would LOVE this puzzle. It was fairly simple to put together and is super tough and sturdy once fully assembled. AND it shoots really well! It doesn't hurt when you get hit by the rubber band but it DOES shoot the band a long distance! The fully assembled piece was nearly full size, simple to assemble, but does take some a little skill. A great gift for a fellow gun collector or puzzle lover, it even has a single, burst, and full auto option! Now I just have to get him to stop shooting me with it all the time. hahah!

Clear instructions, really fun to use. Somewhat simple build, not too challenging compared to other kits. It's a wonderful gift for both gun enthusiasts as well as parents who want to make an AK-47 for playing with kids - or pets. Been told that it looks/sounds like a real AK-47, and while it's a bit small for my hands, it does look beautiful on my shelf. Biggest downside is that there's no stand for it. You can use a couple of spots for display, but it'd be real handy if ROKR made a stand for it (You can also commission someone to make a stand for you if you'd like.

Think about the balsa planes we used to assemble when we were young. The box dimension is very reminiscent of that size that the planes came in. The pieces are thicker though, and the rifle is stronger. You'll get more than one or two uses out of this model! My only request to the manufacturer is - please make a model of the AR-15. I got the AK model, but would have rather been able to buy a replica of the rifle I actually own! This is a super gift for any fire arms person in the family. Shooting the rubber bands is a blast!

This was a very fun item to build, and after fully constructing it, the gun works, but there is a couple small caveats that I did not like or that made the build difficult. 1) While there are some spare pieces that come with the set, many of the pieces do not have spare pieces, and it just so happens the 2 or 3 tiny pieces I had that did end up breaking, did not have spare parts. Thankfully these were more cosmetic parts, and I was able to put a bit of gorilla glue on them, and the next day they were decently strong with the glue, so it did not stop me from completing the build, but it is still a little frustrating when you want to keep building but a broken part forces you to wait 24 hours for glue to set the broken piece in properly. 2) Some of the instructions were not 100% clear and I had to reference a build video about 3 or 4 times to make sure I was putting a piece or a part in correctly. Outside of those minor issues that caused me to knock off 1 star, overall the item is very good and I would recommend purchasing as long as you have the patience to build it and are very careful with your building so as not to break tiny parts, and maybe are willing to use a little glue if needed.

Be very careful not to loose any of the small parts, especially the small springs. I finished assembling my AK-47 and it works OK, but maybe not as well as I would like. IMO this is not for anyone that has no patience or cannot follow directions. It is rated a 4 out of 5 for difficulty, but is doable and enjoyable if you like these type of kits.

Gave this to my husband for Christmas, very well made, the instructions are clear and comes with everything you need. Seems about the right complexity for an adult (not too hard.LOL). Not sure how long it takes to put together he worked on it several nights a little at a time. Fun time sucker.

This was really fun to assemble. I recommend a couple of things. 1.) Do this when you are feeling patient. They are small, delicate pieces that need to be treated as such. 2.) Glue is not needed.....until you break a piece. I used a toothpick and micro-tipped super glue to fix a couple of pieces. All in all, this was the first of 3 I've put together so far. I am now a ROKR addict. I keep it mounted behind my desk at work. It's quite the conversation piece!

Wow! This is not my first foray into the world of ROKR, but it is probably one of my favorite sets. Everything here is super intricate with a lot of small fragile pieces, including small springs and bendable wooden parts. Like most ROKR sets there are plenty of extra pieces in case you crack a few while trying to release them from the molds, but none of my parts broke during assembly. It is a beautiful set, but if I had to pick one negative feature, it would be the strength of the bands as they come off. It seems really weak, so don’t expect to win any rubber band gun fights, but the firing strength is enough to knock over the soldier targets that are included. The set is rated 4 out of 5 for difficulty and for ages 14+ and I strongly agree with that. It took about 4-5 hours of leisurely building to complete.

Such a fun project, cool modes (fire and burst), powerful and harmless such good value for money and quality
