Looks like a PoS, Works like a Piece of Solid work
I bought this weird looking pos for my computer for elder scrolls games & using DS4...WELL...it a freaking amazing controller. I lucked out. The lights are cool, but some nights aggravate me.

It’s aight can’t control the disco lights to be plugged in or buy an adapter for wireless for pc
The media could not be loaded. It’s good so far for my pc I needed to buy an adapter but only 10$ for that .. gotta find a long usb cord.. the pc recognizes it as Xbox so the mappings off and also I hate how all gamer stuff has DISCO LED.. it’s cool but give us an option to change the color or turn it off …lasted me 8 months so far sometimes the right trigger gets stuck but I’ve played a lot of games so far so I’m happy

It’s crap.
Spring for the Xbox controller at Walmart. It’s a little more expensive, but worth it. This controller kept making my game glitch too much and then eventually it just stopped working completely.

Confusing; Difficult to connect; Poor battery life
I grew up with Xbox and Nintendo. My wife grew up with PlayStation. We exchanged controllers as gifts one christmas. I got her this, she got me an 8bitdo 'xbox' controller. Mine is excellent in every way, but this one is difficult to connect, has poor battery life, and cannot be used while charging, even if plugged into the computer.

It's a Hit!
From past experiences, I've discovered that nothing beats the branded controllers. Until now. When I ordered this, I wasn't expecting much, to be honest. But, we were down to one controller and even it was giving us a hard time here and there. So, it was time to get another. I'll admit, what prompted me to even try this was the innate cheapskate within me and wanting to save a few dollars in this unsure economy. The shipping was great. It got here barely even two days after it was ordered. Which was perfect timing as my 5 year old grandson was losing all patience with the other remaining controller. Lol It was pretty much ready to go right out of the box. The first time my grandson saw this light up, he was ecstatic. I was impressed at not just the beautiful lights, but how well it fit in the hand and the buttons were quiet and smooth, as were the thumbsticks. It's performed flawlessly and just as good as the branded one. Charging it has been quick and so far, none of us have noticed any flaws or lag with the controls. This is now the chosen and favorite controller we all go to when firing up our PS4. As for how it performs on any other devices, such as android, I can't say yet. When I get the chance and can try it, I'll update my review. Suffice it to say, this has been the *best* non-branded controller we've tried over the many years and through many different systems. Thumbs up!

Generic DualShock 4 controller, works with Mac and Linux too
I inteded to use a DS4 controller for PS4 on a Mac and Linux. Since this is advertised to work with Android, I assumed it would work as a game controller for them, and it did.On a Mac, it detects as a DS4 game controller on either USB wired connection or Bluetooth wireless connection. It doesn't detect sound device nor tablet input, and you can't control the RGB lightings. On a Linux, when connected through USB, it detects both the game controller, the tablet, the audio device, and the status light which I tested all to work. Again, I couldn't control the RGB lightings. For Linux using Bluetooth, I initially had a hard time connecting, since it detects, pairs, and connects the controller fine, but always disconnects within a few seconds. I eventually succeeded in making it work by searching the Internet for a workaround for bleeding edge bluez bug: always systemctl restart bluetooth just before pairing. Again, RGB lights are not controllable, and the sound device, tablet, and status light are not detected. This is not a problem since I have access to wireless HD audio and much finer wireless gaming mouse anyway.Feels for grips and control are nice, although the buttons on either side of PS4 button are a little too close to the joysticks and have to let the thumbs go over the joysticks and down. Not an issue for me since I don't use them during frantic gaming action.Great generic Dual Shock 4 Slim controller with RGB lights and status lighting, and nice that it at least works as a wireless DS4 gaming controller for Mac and Linux.
