Remember to measure your old one
This is a fantastic replacement, and was needed as I couldn't get the gas canister out of the original piece that came with the chair. Does everything you could possibly want. Saved me £270 or so against the cost of replacing a perfectly fine chair. £30 every 5 years is a worthwhile expense

Does the job
Came packaged well, fits my executive style chair fine. These types of bases all seem to have the same issue, in that the tilt function will fail and the metal will open up like a tin can. (but you probably know that if you're reading this) This particular base hasn't failed me yet, but it's not made any different to the others, so will probably fail in a few years. Still 5 stars though as this is expected no matter who you buy the base from!

Failed in less than a year
I bought this in May last year and it didn't make it to February. As you can see the actual metal itself is too thin and the contact points between the tilt adjust and the plate have failed.

Replacement mechanism
This replacement mechanism is great and it saved my gaming chair because the original had cracked around the gas lift post mount , it was easy to change out with a rubber malet , my chair lives on

Great replacement mechanism
Used to replace the broken mechanism on my AKRacing chair. It fits perfectly and the holes for the bolts are more elongated than showing in the picture, so fitted with no problems. Now I'm relaxing back in my favourite chair again..Thank you

Decent replacement
It fitted my gaming chair perfectly as my old part had broken and didn't cost much compared gto the £300 chair looks brand new now!!!
