Silk Route Home Mini Pancake Pan 7 Pancake Moulds 23cm Crepe Pan

I didn't check the listing very carefully and was expecting this to make the sized pancakes you see in the shops. After opening it I was surprised by the size of it and that it makes upto 7 very mini pancakes at a time. You can only get about 10ml of batter into each section that how small they are.The pan is fully cast iron and so is heavy and the handle gets hot so be careful but it does mean it can be used in the oven.Without any knowledge at all I attempted to use the pan to make pancakes despite never having used a cast iron pan before. The first attempt was a complete disaster, they stuck and burned and went straight in the bin. For the second attempt I heated the pan to medium hot and gave it plenty of time to get to temperature, I made the batter stiffer and used more oil. I flipped them as soon as the top was solid enough and they came out well, so second time lucky.Cleaning was easy even after the initial burned batch and cafe should be taken to dry it completely before putting away to prevent rust.I can't comment on how long it will last yet but so far it seems like a good pan at a good price for cast iron.

Pancakes are small but it does say mini. It is heavy but it is cast iron. Works well but prob wouldn’t have bought it had I of realised it was cast iron which is my fault for not reading it.

The media could not be loaded.  Washed it, dried with cloth and left to dry yet it came out still RUSTY! I know its cast iron but the quality pf this pan is disastrous. Was planning to use on my child's meals but guess its a big NO! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO BUY!!

A bit disappointed with the size I was expecting it to be bigger it makes very small pancakes

I am not happy with my purchase and unfortunately I have used it so I don't think I can return it Grease it well but unable to get pancake out . would not recommend purchase

this is a cast iron miniature pancake skillet that allows you to make seven small fluffy american style pancakes at once.if you've never tried them, they are a real game changer, and it is no wonder that they make up a part of the breakfast table in the states. and, if you have, you have the chance to make them a staple part of your diet.it is easy to clean and even easier to use. as a word of precaution. this is cast iron and will hold its heat for quite some time after use. so after care is going to be required.it has become a firm favourite in our kitchen, and is used on a near daily basis. if my kids got their own way it would be in use several times daily, but that isn't going to happen any time soon.

Not a good product at all. Pancakes stuck to it even on a low heat. Waste of money.
