The adjustable velcro fastener lets me easily and consistently adjust comfort for any amount of swelling and pain tolorance. The open heel never touches the hot spots in the back in my heal. And while I was concerned that “orthopedic shoes” would look embarrassing for a guy so young to have to wear… I was delighted to hear that my wife thinks the look cool or like athletic recovery shoes. They seem well made, fit according to size, work great for a wide foot and feel like standing in a cloud. Highly recommend!!
