Professional, Practical Help for Anxiety
I thought anxiety was a convenient excuse for not doing things people didn’t want to do until in my later life due to illness I actually experienced anxiety. I now realize it is real and debilitating when not dealt with. Lauren Cook in her book Generation Anxiety outlines and explains the types of anxiety, it’s severity and many easy to follow methods to get help and learn how to manage anxiety. Dr Cook is creative in her organization of the book and helps the reader stay engaged and entertained along with the benefit of excellent professional help for anxiety. This is the third book I’ve read of Dr Cooks and I can say without reservation that she has hit the mark of anxiety treatment with Generation Anxiety. I highly recommend this read for anyone struggling with anxiety.
