Mighty Paw rope Dog Lead is a must have
This lead from Mighty Paw along with their other leads are well made, long lasting and easy to use. We have one of their leads that has a short handle as well as a long handle and love it, but wanted a sturdier one for our 65lb very strong and energetic Long haired German Shephard. It's also highly visible at night and very light weight. We have an off leash area and it easily fits into coat or pants pockets which is another plus, yet is very strong and can handle a lot of pulling when necessary. Big Thumbs up to a great company and product. The only down side is that it takes longer to click it on to the harness when in a hurry. Not a deterrent. love it anyway.

Very nice rope leash
I received this leash at a reduced price for testing. I had been thinking about buying a rope leash for some time, so when given the chance to test this one, I did it. I like the large clip at the end of the leash, it helps you clip it on the leash if your dog is moving around. The clip seems sturdy and like it would not let the ring on the dog collar slip out. The handle is nice and big with some padding. The rope itself does have a little stretch to it but is very strong. I do not think the knots will come undone, they seem very strong. I will be watching to see if the knots start to slip.

Great long leash
This leash ended up being a bit longer than I expected but I just roll it around my hand or arm a few times. I have a small pup who is a big puller. The rope has just enough give that neither of us are shocked when he suddenly pulls and I'm holding tight. The handle fits around my wrist and over a big jacket. The color is great and bright.I don't think I'll use another leash ever again.

Go to leash
I'm a 72-year-old professional petsitter and this is my go-to leash for large and small dogs. It has a soft hand, is lightweight and the carabiner is great for arthritic hands to manipulate. I've used it with an 80-pound reactive Malinois and 10-pound ankle bitters with good success. I take care of my stuff so durability has not been an issue yet.

Leash
I have only used the leash for one day but no complaints. Comes with a lifetime warranty and some training tips.

(Updated) finally!
Update: I dropped this review to 3 stars because it came unclipped and my dog got loose this morning and she was almost gone for good. She is very reactive to bunnies. She saw one and when I reached down to pick her up, my thumb BARELY touched the clip and in a nano-second, she was gone. I got v lucky today.... but her 5 foot leash with a non-swivel, but LOCKING caribeaner is back on her harness. Still a good leash, just not for reactive dogs. Also, my other pup chewed the black plastic piece off in the car and threw it up later.Previous review: I have been looking for a leash with several "must haves" and this leash checked the following boxes: rope secured with knots - not sewn, clamped, etc; caribeaner clasp (would've preferred a locking feature) that SWIVELS; 6 feet long; light weight; reflective, not crazy stiff. I think the only box it doesn't check is the locking caribeaner. I got one in each color as I'm walking a 20lb stick of dynamite (recently rescued hunting beagle) and a 30lb much calmer beagle. I would not hesitate to use this leash on my bigger pup (~60lbs), but if he pulled like my little one, I might be a little apprehensive. Overall though, I recommend.

Great leash, quality product
Well made leash. I got the orange one and it's nice and bright and easy to spot. The carabiner end is easy on, easy off and I like the handle too. It feels good on the hands. I currently have 2 dogs and this leash is easily switched back and forth when I need to get them from the house to the car as well. On walks, it's very sturdy and even my normal "puller" doesn't seem to affect the leash at all.

Not durable…see photos
The durability is much worse than expected for claiming that this is a climbing rope leash. We bought this as a training leash to allow our dogs to get the feel of being off leash, except to still have it connected while they run around free. A couple long hikes and this is the result.
