To be honest, I bought this one because I thought I had ruined the first ... I had left it out & there was crude on the blade ... So, I ordered another to replace the first. While I waited for the replacement, I took a fine sanding sponge to the blade & cleaned up the crude. The blade was as good as new! Since the price on the replacement blade was good, I decided to keep it. I cut fused glass - small pieces, often 6mm or thicker. This blade does a great job. Minimal chipping. Able to cut 1/4" slices (earrings) and larger. I have owned blades that are triple the price of this one (they are thinner with less waste) but, honestly, for the price, this one is my choice.
