It was extremely easy and now the machine is turning out perfect loaves again. Just remember to check your yeast has not gone 'off' while you were getting around to ordering the part, I solved this by using 1 3/4 tsp instead of 1 1/4. Great value, budget and environment friendly, good for Panasonic that it is not a built-in obselence job. I was initially a bit fed up at having to buy a new paddle into the bargain but now having used it I don't regret it, as it comes out of the bread so cleanly every time which I had forgotten!
