It’s clear it was either repackaged faulty or the quality of the rubber is sadly not up to scratch due to the clear break and fraying near the break. I should point out I haven’t actually tried it so sadly can only say it’s a good idea from the videos I watched on it but I’m reality the quality you are better off going for the egg shape that you pass to a wall. Review: Great concept - but quickly broke - This is a superb concept (returning rugby ball), but the rubber has lost all stretch and failed at both ends after just 6 months (definitely old rubber). Had one in 1990s which lasted 10 years, so suspect this is very old stock.
