I don't usually write reviews but this comb is great...a little awkward to get used to but that may be more to do with my pup only wanting to face one way! Gets most tangles out really easily so much better than snipping knots of hair out...this is going to be in regular use as she loves running through bramble bushes and muddy puddles ♡

This worked wonderfully!! I have a cavalier, and his long fur gets matted so easily just through daily living/playing/walking. He acquired a mat on his tail, and he would not let me brush it, kept walking in circles, backing up, laying on it. When I bought this I was a little skeptical, though it had good reviews. It took a little bit for him to get used to it, but once he settled it went so quick! His tail was silky smooth again in no time, and it had been quite bad to be honest. The blades were sharp, it was easy to use to remove the tangles, and I'm incredibly glad for the purchase. Highly recommended!

This dematting comb is exception to use on my Alaskan Malamute male. My boy loves being groomed, so this one will feel a little different for him. It is essential when using this comb you follow the instructions * PLEASE BE AWARE THIS COMB IS SUPER SHARP* The comb itself has a few prongs and extremely comfortable to use on my dog. Please do not go in heavy handed, this has to be a good introduction with grooming. So many sellers all over sell products that are not suitable to my lads hair. This comb if you are reading this has excellent reviews for the type of comb it is. My Mal is 6 years old and my first Malamute. They are a lot bigger than Husky’s and built to pull cars and trucks. As a working dog, he needs to be groomed 2-3 times a week and can take 1-2 hours if using this style of comb, then using a slicker brush and undercoat rake. Mals have two coats to get through, and blow their coat 3-4 times a year, resulting in three large bin liners a year. It is of the upmost importance to buy the correct tools. I hadn’t, I figured the tools all the same, but they are not. What I can say the amount of under fur or dead fur, this tool is excellent, it is so tough, doesn’t hurt the dog if used correctly. For the ultimate grooming you will need this tool, plus a decent slicker brush and undercoat rake. So if you have a dog that is super hairy, has more than one coat, then this is for you. So worth the money, and the best I have used in over 40 years of grooming my rescue dogs. Because of the sharpness, there is a good fitted plastic case that press studs over the sharp tool If you feel unsure, please don’t be, this is the one what hairy dogs need, the hair afterwards is pure softness and detangled. Great for keeping our cockapoo free of matting and tangles

I have a newfoundland who has always hated being brushed. We usually end up cutting out mats when she is in the shower. Unfortunately her feathers on her legs became matted and I really did not want to cut them off. After some research and trying other products - I ordered this. Best thing I have bought for my dog.. she was not phased and let me brush her with this, the mat was gone in a few minutes so no need for excessive brushing (which she will not tolerate). No pain or flinching she was happy to chew on her bone while I used this and didnt mind at all. This is a absolute game changer for dogs that mat and hate grooms. The blades are sharp, I did not realise and cut my finger trying to get hair out but I know not to touch that side again in future

Our rescue girl has a double coat and all the problems that come with it matting and heatwise. She has been to a groomer but gets stressed so thought this 'comb' would be a good idea. However, despite brushing 1st, it still drags her fur a bit and so she isn'y very happy with it. I will keep on, short spurts and all that, it's just a rougher experience for her than I had envisaged.

I could not wait to be asked to review this product. I originally stayed away from the safaris brush be cause I figured for the price range it probably work, boy was it wrong. First of all when I first was looking for a dematting brush I opted for a two sided dematter which worked great as a brush to get the loose and dead hair out, but when I found a serious matt I resorted to my scissors to cut through the matt or just simply cut it out because I could not work through the matt with the dematter brush. Then I was watching a grooming video and noticed the groomer going to the safari dematter to remove a bad matt. It got my attention did a little more research and decided to give it a try. My pup, a mini Goldendoodle has a coarse coat which matts pretty quick if I don't brush and comb her often. I had found a pretty bad matt in her armpit which I had attempted to remove a few days earlier. As soon as I received the safari tool I went to work, I really was astounded at how easy, painless for both me and my pet, and how well it broke up the matt with no real pulling just cutting right through the matt. I cannot say enough about the Safari dematting brush and would highly recommend it to anyone, this is a great brush.

Amazing product saw it in a groomers shop and had to buy it its been saving my dogs coat like a miracle . Would definitely recommend this product been using it for quite a few months now and love it

Es un buen producto, llego en tiempo y en buen estado, es un cepillo de calidad, los materiales buenos y fácil de usar, tengo un perro raza lhasa apso y es un lío por tantos nudos que se le hacen, cuando lo compré ya tenia su pelo muy enredado y con nudos en sus patas, y logré quitarlos es práctico porque va deshaciendo el nudo y corta lo necesario no deja el hueco, lo que si es que hay que ser pacientes no es para usarlo de una pasada pues puedes lastimar al perro de tantos jalones, mejor usarlo diariamente.

Ein absoluter Gamechanger! Bin durch Zufall, in einem Block, auf diesen Entfilzungskamm aufmerksam geworden. Nachdem ich bei unserem Langhaarhund ständig gegen Verfilzungen ankämpfe habe ich auch dementsprechend viele Fellbürsten und Mittelchen ausprobiert. Das meiste davon war leider nicht Zielführend oder für den Hund nicht erträglich. Kann diesen Entfilzungskamm zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Funktioniert hervorragend und schont die eigenen Nerven und die des Vierbeiners ebenfalls.

I just got this item today and quickly groomed my puppy. I have a 6 month old Biewer Terrier who is terrified of being groomed. She cries and yips and complains horribly when I try to brush her regardless of how gentle, and careful I am to support her skin while I comb her out. It breaks my heart to have to groom her. This tool went through her hair like a hot knife through butter. I LOVE IT. I have a dematting comb that is the same idea but the teeth on this new one are much MUCH sharper. The teeth cut through the tangles better without cutting the hair that offers no resistance. My one complaint is the design: one of the things that appealed to me about this product is that I can change the direction of the teeth for left-handed cutting. I assumed that the top of the comb would just unscrew to attach in the opposite direction to change the direction of the teeth. NOPE..it's more complicated than that. The teeth and each separator all come off the base and need to be reassembled. I managed to do this in just a few minutes...but it was a bit of a pain. There has to be an easier way. In all...my small complaint is really no big deal. It's an excellent comb and will make grooming so much easier for both me and my wee girl. I would highly recommend making this part of a dog grooming tool kit.
