I tried testing this out with nothing on it and thought it was faulty. It wasn’t until the second one came and I realized it must be user error. (Instructions don’t really warn you, you just hear beeping until it turns itself off). The seller responded quickly, as well. It gets hot pretty quickly, and took about 5 minutes to boil on medium (not a full boil in 5 minutes but bubbles on the bottom and small ones coming up).
