Can you use something other than gum balls in this machine? 3 is a little young to be chewing gum!

Maybe some vitamins or small candies like jelly beans or M&M’s!

Can 0.5 inch gum balls fit?

If .5 is small to regular gumball then yes. I have large 1” and too small.

Will this work with M&M's?

Hi! I think it would work with M&M’s. I used dubble bubble gum balls in mine and it works like a charm. I think peanut M&M’s would work really well, the smaller ones without nuts may get stuck in the dispenser slot, causing a jam!
