As a DIY enthusiast, having reliable equipment is crucial, and this inflator certainly fits the bill. One aspect I appreciate is the large, easy-to-read glow dial. I have a 4-wheel drive vehicle and an onboard air compressor. It is essential to be able to inflate my tires (deflating is easy) after a day of offroad driving. I had nearly been stranded once because the air chuck leaked on another unit. The replacement I bought simply leaked all over. I was super pleased to buy and try the Rhino USA Heavy Duty Tire Pressure Inflator. Before I could even use the unit, the company emailed me about registering for the lifetime warranty. Impressive! I assembled the unit (not much -- just attach the compressor fitting with the supplied teflon tape). When I tried it there were no leaks at all. The quick fastening chuck was super-easy to attach to the tire stems and it didn't leak at all! (As you can probably surmise, having it not leak is important to me. It is essential to have the unit work every time so that I'm not driving on the highway with 10 lb of air in the tires.) The gauge proved very accurate, showing both the compressor line pressure and the tire pressure. The only issue I had (not really an issue -- more of a puzzle) was when I tried to empty the air tank after turning the compressor off. The unit seals up when there is no valve stem in the chuck. It turns out that I need to press the inflator lever and the deflator button at the same time and this allowed me to empty the tank. This is a super product and well worth twice the price of the cheaper (Chinese?) units like AstroAI that simply didn't work. (The AstroAI product I tried leaked like a sieve and I couldn't even begin to inflate my tires.) Thanks for the "father and son" team at Rhino USA for making a quality product! Now, it's offroading for me!

Gauge readings appear to be accurate! Tool is easy to use. One thing that I do not like, and I did confirm via Rhino's Support is the backlight function. My question or statement to Rhino was, "So, what I am noticing is that the backilght does turn on for a brief time when first turned on but will go out. And then, when I need to fill additional tires, the backlight will not come back on unless I first turn off and then turn back on. Is this the correct operation?" And, their AI response was, "Thanks for checking in with the details. You’ve got it right—the backlight on your Rhino USA 200 PSI Digital Tire Inflator Gauge is designed to turn on briefly when you first power it up to help save battery life. After a short period, it switches off on purpose. If you want the backlight on again for more tire checks, just turn the gauge off and then back on. That’s totally normal and part of how the gauge is designed to be rugged and battery-efficient, so you’re all good!" So, although the unit is operating as designed, where the gauge readout is still there but the backlight goes off after a period of time, I would've preferred to have some control over when backlight turns off or at least have the light by design to stay on as long as the gauge readout. I mean, how much battery life is the backlight really draining checking all four tires? Because, from the time I fill the tire to spec and put the valve cap back on and move to the next tire, the backlight goes out, but the gauge remains on. Now I must cycle the power button to get the backlight on again.

I just bought one of these and I am pleasantly surprised by the whole feel of the thing, it really exudes quality. I've bought several tyre inflators in the past and they have all been poor. Not so this one. It feels like a professional unit Despite it saying it does not come with batteries for the light up display - it actually does. The only niggle is it comes with a Euro air connector and I am all PCL type, luckily I had a spare PCL connector to hand.

If you work around cars a lot, have a business that has a fleet of anything with tires - you need this gauge. Super easy to use. Super accurate and as reliable as a wood burning stove. The lit display makes this thing a dream in low light. Quality stainless braided hose and quick connect and release valve is so good that once you use it, you can't live without it. All my buddies are either looking to buy one or already have. And you get stickers.... now proudly stuck on my floor jack!
