I love this work out bench! It feels even better in quality than at my gym. The padding is firm but nicely cushioned. So are the rollers for sit ups. A lot of engineering went into this, for not a lot of money. Take for instance the smooth folding for easy storage, and the adjustable footings to help with leveling. Both the back rest and the seat are quickly adjustable. The only minor quibble I would have is that the pin that allows for the bench to fold or stabilize when unfolded is separate and can be easily lost. The maker should consider a pocket that will hold the pin so it doesn’t get lost when the bench is folded. Otherwise, amazing buy!

Bench was damaged (two tears) as seen in photos. Found flyer in box so contacted them before deciding whether to return or not. They responded to first email asking for info and pics. Provided what was asked for and several other emails. Have not heard from them since. Not sure if it's worth the trouble ( being so big and bulky) to return. Still deciding. Bench is usable and works as needed. Paid for better quality though.

I'll start by saying that i love this bench. I have it in the corner of my 10x10 office and it doesn't get in the way, even when not disassembled. I work out with an online group 4-5 days a week. We all decided to get benches and I recommended this bench to my classmate after I got it.The bench is a little narrow and a little shaky when doing 1 arm dumbbell chest presses. It is very stable with a long bar press. It is even stable when doing dips off the side. I was a little concerned about the back brace (when the back is inclined). Not a problem at all. It's solid. Same with the seat, solid, as long as you make sure the legs are fully extended.The two things that I don't like, besides the width and shakiness, are that the padding is wearing (after just a few weeks) between the seat and the back and the assembly pins were very hard to align.For me, the rope pulls are useless, but I didn't buy it for them. If I were just starting out lifting, maybe they would be good. When my fiancée moves in, I'll let her try them and perhaps update this review.Also, one of the leg pads came with a slight rip in it. Customer service made it right. The bad part was that the called (whatsapp) in the middle of the night (2:00 AM). They are in China and didn't realize the time zone difference, I guess. BUT like I said, they made it right so I'm not complaining, just stating what happened.

I’m so happy I decided to go with this bench instead of the more expensive one I thought I wanted. The bench was very easy to assemble and I say that bc I have long nails and did it in about 10-15 min. The thickness is just right for me and the material is good also.I’m 5’1” & 119lbs and it fits me perfectly so it’s definitely made for fun size people like myself :)The ease of switching positions is also nice! I tried the elastic bands that came with the bench and they don’t really offer much resistance but I guess with several reps you will start to feel something lolPlease note this does not sit at 90 degrees.I love the color of the bench as I tend to gravitate to red and black now for some reason. I do wish they offered it in a few more colors for us girls that love pink also lolThe bench is also pretty sturdy on carpet although I think it would be better suited for a non carpet area. It was a tiny bit unstable but I honestly think it’s my carpet and not the bench.I got this bench when they offered a coupon so it really made the purchase more appealing for me and I’m happy I grabbed it.Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase.

I held out for months waiting for the gym to reopen and finally reached the point where I realized my monthly fee savings could pay for dumbbells and a bench. I researched the options and finally settled on these (got a package deal of two dumbbells and Ativafit bench) and am so impressed. Having been burned in the past with exercise equipment that was not well built I am so glad I stretched to get these. The dumbbells are ingenious and feel very stable and well built (they are slightly longer than normal dumbbells which takes a few sessions to adjust to, but you soon adapt). I was worried the bench would not feel sturdy as I like to do fairly heavy lifting, but like the dumbbells very nicely built and high quality. if you asked me a year ago if I'd spend this type of money for a home gym I'd say no way as I like my local gym, but oddly happy the pandemic forced me down this road as will make easier to get in my workouts even when I start going to the gym again.

Very sturdy and affordable price

I did a lot of research before I purchased this. I ended up getting it on a Prime Deal as I had it on my wish list for a bit. I do have to say that this is perfect for a shorter adult. I am 5'1 and 125lbs and it works great for me. If I were taller and heavier, it would not be as comfortable length wise and I would have concerns on sturdiness. For someone my size, it works great. I have used it a few times now and am very happy with my purchase. I hate putting things together and have the patience of a 2 year old when it comes to assembly and I put it together just fine. I don't have a ton of space so the fact that this can fold up is a great feature. I appreciate that it has different positions to adjust and it's easy to move around. Overall, it is exactly what I was looking for and fits my needs.

Didn't like that I was missing parts and couldn't have parts sent to me.Had to send the whole bench back.
