Make sure your 1610 pelican case has the mounting pad for the lid, mine was an older model which did not, now have to figure away to make it work.

Cool idea - horrible execution
Fits the Pelican lid just fine, but the screws stick about 1/4 or more through the lid when attaching according to the directions. Just buy some #8 pan head bolts and nuts and attach it the way it should be, instead of the insanely stupid way the directions give you.
