Pacsafe Toursafe AT29 Anti-Theft Wheeled Luggage, Black

I have traveled over 2,000,000 air miles and as my wife will attest, I have a luggage collection with no end. I purchase my first Pacsafe suitcase for a Africa trip two years ago, and now own three different sizes. The zipper is the top feature and the overall quality is no comparison to my other expensive bags, IE. Tumi, Hartmann, Ospreys, Eagle Creek, etc... I love the fact that I can stuff it as full as possible and know that the zipper will keep it secured during travel and locked safely in my room.

Bought this for my travel to Israel, mostly for security since finding out how all other luggage zipper tracks can be opened with a ball point pen. This bag, combined with two "SearchAlert TSA Accepted Luggage Lock - Yellow", survived the rigors of loading/unloading of 5 planes!! Not one bit of damage. (Actually, one of the TSA locks must have fallen off or something because when I arrived to Israel, only one remained securing the main zipper. So at least the main zipper was secured; the TSA never opened the lock.)

The concept is great, but if you use cheap parts such as the zipper, and thieves know this this type of suitcase has that weakness, its easy pickings. So the first time I use this suitcase was months after I bought. I bought it only for the recent travel ban from Saudi Arabia to the US. Well the ban is lifted but I thought it was a pretty good suitcase. I used the two travel TSA approved locks so they have a key that they use to inspect your bags, When I came back in country, I got to the room and went to unlock my suitcase when I noticed one of the zippers were broken off the top of the zipper mechanism. Basically the lock still was locked to the two zippers, but the bottom of that zipper was no longer attached. So the bag is now unsecured. I'm so glad I didn't put my electronics in the suitcase like I started to.

Took it to Colombia this last winter. This thing is a tough as nails.

This has to be the best piece of luggage we've ever Used- Just returned from 28 days of 6 different country's ! Not a single issue ( except it did come home overweight /

I like everything about my pac-safe case except for the zipper. After several trips, the zipper came apart near one of the corners, leaving a gaping opening. I took it to two local shops for repair. The first wouldn’t touch it,saying the repair would cost more than the bag was worth. The second sewed the area with heavy twine, closing the gap. They told me the bag would only last an additional trip or two, so I am using it with packing cubes and fingers crossed. The sewn zipper also limits access to the bag, but it’s manageable. I’d love to recommend this case, but the zipper fragility is a non starter.

This is one amazingly secure suitcase yet a shame it does not come with padlocks, yet don't let that put you off as PacSafe make some very practical security products essential for any travellers.

I'm a proud new owner of this pacsafe . It's all I expected, sturdy,secure and good to look at.My order arrived within a week, couldn't ask for a better service!

The only downside is the giant zippers holders. It got stuck in an airport belt and zippers broke. Now I cant lock the bags anymore and can only use one zipper. This is a terrible design flaw. I have got in touch with Pac safe and they have not responded to this issue. I am happy to pay for the part but they are not willing to get it fixed. Total waste of $300 dollars.
