Stylish Upgrade with Essential Functionality
This GLNLQ Matte Black Toilet Paper Holder with Shelf is exactly what my bathroom needed! It's not just a beautiful, modern upgrade thanks to the clean matte black finish; it's incredibly practical. Installation was straightforward and felt very sturdy once mounted. The sleek, angular design instantly elevates the look of the space. The Shelf is a Game-Changer: The real star of the show is the integrated shelf. It's the perfect size for holding a standard container of flushable wet wipes. This keeps them neatly stored, easily accessible, and off the back of the toilet tank or counter. You could also use it for your phone, air freshener, or a small decorative item. If you're looking for a combination of modern style and superior functionality (especially if you use wet wipes), look no further. Highly recommend this productโit's a definite 5 out of 5!

Bathroom Paper Roll Honest, Unbiased and Non-Compensated Review
Great product and great choice. It is easy to install. It gives you the option of flexibility in the sense of you don't have to drill into your wall if you don't want to. The color is durable, it hasn't peeled and it is a good weight, not flimsy. The use of this product is easy.

Great item, adhesive didn't hold
We had to use the screws, the adhesive didn't hold and the thing fell off when I was in the shower- scared me to death! But the screws are holding tight. Makes changing the TP quick and easy. The little phone shelf is a plus, and we even use it for a tablet holder so we can watch videos while in the bath!

Stylish, Sturdy, and Very Practical
This Matte Black Toilet Paper Holder with Shelf is both stylish and functional. The matte black finish looks modern, the shelf is perfect for a phone or small items, and it easily fits mega rolls without any issues. The rustproof stainless steel feels sturdy, and the self-adhesive mount has held up well without drilling. It was easy to install and works great in the bathroom, but I can see it being useful in an RV or kitchen too. A great upgrade that combines convenience and a clean, modern look.

Very Good Item!
I really like this item! I originally bought it because my apartment has a cheap one installed that keeps breaking off the wall. This product has a nice strong adhesive so it literally makes it super easy to apply and no drilling necessary. I have a large iPhone and easily fits on top with no issues. Definitely worth the price and value!

Easy to install, looks good, sturdy
Easy to install, looks great, sturdy and as described. Great place to set your phone, because you know you're gonna take that thing in the bathroom with you! Here's a fun article on why you should not loiter on the toilet for more than 10 minutes at a time, written by Mikhail Klimentov and published in The Washington Post: "Letโs get this out of the way upfront: Plenty of people use portable devices โ phones, chiefly, but also mobile gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch and the Steam Deck โ while on the toilet. Thereโs a good chance, in fact, that youโre reading this article on the toilet. Incredibly, a few surveys have been conducted on the subject. In one conducted by NordVPN earlier this year, 65% of respondents (of 9,800 adults surveyed) said they used their phones in the bathroom. But it also just feels anecdotally true. The habit isnโt a new one; people have kept books and magazines by the porcelain throne for decades. With ever-smaller and more portable devices in our pockets, it seems intuitive that we would turn to those devices in a quiet moment. โLook, there are two types of people in the world,โ said Nir Eyal, an author and lecturer who writes about habits, focus and human behavior. โPeople who check their phone in the bathroom, and people who lie about checking their phone in the bathroom.โ The practice is normally kept behind locked bathroom doors and left politely undiscussed. But in October, there was a vibe shift, brought about by the release of โMarvel Snap,โ a new card game available on phones and tablets. โMarvel Snap is the best game to play on the toilet currently,โ tweeted popular streamer and content creator Saqib โLirikโ Zahid to his almost 650,000 followers. โI hate Marvel Snap and so does my toilet seat,โ blared a headline on the video game website VG247. And although full disclosure may not be desired by readers of an article like this one, I feel compelled to say: I too play โMarvel Snapโ on the toilet. Iโm Spartacus! Which prompted the question: Is it healthy to sit on the toilet with a phone? I turned to a gastroenterologist for answers. โYou generally donโt want to spend more than about on average about 10 minutes,โ said Dr. Roshini Raj, a gastroenterologist at NYU Langone, and the author of โGut Renovation,โ a book about digestive health. Though Raj acknowledged that โ like with many things in medicine โ thereโs not a one size fits all answer, she pointed to three potential pain points for preoccupied poopers. Your toilet is grosser than you think. Hereโs how to clean it better. First, sitting for prolonged periods of time could lead to hemorrhoids, sometimes-painful swollen veins in the anal area. Some of that comes down to the unique functional design of the toilet. โThereโs a hole in the middle,โ Raj said. โAnd so the actual anorectal area is hanging a little bit lower than the part thatโs supported โ your thighs. Just by that position, gravity is causing everything to hang a bit, and that is causing pressure on the veins. So even if youโre not straining, if youโre just sitting there thinking of something else, doing something else, there is some pressure being applied to those veins.โ More subtly, thereโs also the risk of your body starting to ignore its own signals. Peristalsis is the name for the progressive contractions that move stool through the intestine to the rectum. But sitting on the toilet for long periods of time not doing anything can hinder that process. โIf youโre sitting for too long and not going to the bathroom, that kind of process actually stops,โ Raj said. โYour body can start to not recognize those signals as well, so it can lead to constipation if youโre sitting for prolonged periods of time on the toilet without actually having a bowel movement.โ This risk, Raj noted, is more likely to be one of many factors in issues like constipation, rather than the driving force. Then thereโs the most obvious factor: bathrooms can be gross. Research shows that a toilet flush can aerosolize pathogens, spreading them to nearby surfaces. That can include your phone, if you rest it on a sink by the toilet, for example. But even beyond aerosolized bacteria, there are risks posed by plain old bad hygiene. โI see a lot of people who get food poisoning or catch different things by not having good hygiene practices in the bathroom,โ Raj said. If youโre playing video games or using your phone on the toilet, youโre probably touching a lot of things you might not want on your device. โI just think generally speaking, if youโre on the toilet having a bowel movement or trying to have a movement, you shouldnโt be using your fingers on anything else.โ If youโre staying within healthy time limits and โ crucially โ always maintaining good personal hygiene, your behavior probably doesnโt need to change. But if youโd like to make a change, there are some simple ways to go about it. For starters, donโt assign a moral valence to staying in the bathroom for too long, cautioned Eyal, the author and lecturer. The rumination on the behavior can be โmore mentally damaging for our mental health than the behavior itself,โ he said. Just be intentional about your behavior, setting plans for what you do in certain settings. โThereโs nothing wrong with taking your phone to the bathroom for a few minutes and doing your business and then coming out,โ Eyal said. โBut if you said, โOh, I planned to be with my kids, but now I stayed in the bathroom for 30 minutes scrolling on TikTok or Instagram,โ well, now youโre distracted, because you planned to do something and now youโre not doing it. So thatโs the best piece of advice: to know what you wanted to do with your time so that you have a priority to spend your time doing that thing, rather than wasting it in the bathroom.โ Itโs also important to remember: phones and other mobile devices arenโt inherently bad, nor are they insurmountably distracting. If you find yourself perpetually losing track of time, consider whether youโre attuned to bigger stressors in your life, and to how youโre feeling in general. โ90% of the time that we get distracted by our phones in particular is because of whatโs happening inside of us,โ Eyal said. โBoredom, loneliness, fatigue, uncertainty, stress, anxiety. These sensations lead us to look for escape from our present reality. And so one of the important things to do with this problem, just like any distractions, is to ask ourselves: What am I escaping when I go to the bathroom for 30 minutes? What feeling am I trying to not feel by hanging out on my phone[?] ... Is it my kids are driving me crazy? Is it work is too hard? Is it that Iโm bored, Iโm listless, Iโm stressed, and now I can take my mind off of those problems? โThe fact of the matter is, if we donโt deal with that, if we donโt know how to deal with that in a healthy manner, I think we will always find a distraction.โ So remember: Think about how youโre spending your time, and wash your hands. And if youโre playing โMarvel Snap,โ do no more than two matches if youโre doing number two." So if you don't know - now you know!
