Prowler 920 Robotic Pool Cleaner 360322

Absolutely the best automatic cleaner for your pool. I have no complaints

We built a new pool in 2019 and the pool builder installed the Prowler 920. It worked great when we opened the pool for the first time in April 2020 but quit in September 2020. I contacted Pentair for warranty assistance one year ago today. Several of the service providers I was given didn't know they were Pentair warranty centers. I've shipped the unit to two different service providers (actually had to drive three hours round trip to pick it up this last time because no one would answer the phone). It is sitting in my garage still broken one year later. I bought another pool cleaner to use in the meantime. I do not recommend this unit and definitely do not recommend an extended service policy as there is no infrastructure to support it.

The media could not be loaded. We love this! Our pool place recommended it and also said we could get it for less on amazon than from them. It saves my husband from having to spend 2 hours cleaning the pool. The pool was about 20 years old when we bought the house and had the main drain covered. That can make getting enough suction to clean the pool VERY difficult. We also believe we may have a leak in our line between our skimmer basket and the pump/filter because we get bubbles. This also makes suction to clean difficult! This product has made my husband fall in love with our pool again! We plug it in and let it go, it runs a few hours very similar to a roomba but for your pool! Once done we open the basket that collects the debris and wash it with the garden hose and then thoroughly rinse the unit the same way, allow to dry and then place in our storage shed! We run it 3 times a week as we usually only swim on the weekends, so Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

I had to replace my side wall Polaris three years ago and took a chance on a robot. I was concerned that not having a continuous vacuum would mean having to drop a robot too much but I only do it once a week and sometimes every other week.As for the Pentair 920 performance, I am very pleased with how it cleans the pool in a couple hours, is easy to clean, and is pretty durable. Our dog chewed on the cord right as I got it but, after three years, it still works great. Very happy with the switch to Pentair robot.

Does a great job climbing the walls and cleaning the bottom

I have a large inground concrete pool. I bought this at the beginning of last summer and was taking it out of my garage and in the pool to every other day or every 3rd day. It cleaned awesome, sides and even steps. At the beginning of this season, I pulled it out of the garage, set it up and accidentally dropped the power supply into the pool. This was not good, it did not turn back on. So i went online, bought another one, which was $300. I thought, well that's not horrible either for such a great thing. While waiting for the second supply, i took apart the first one. I put it all in rice and dumped rice like right into the unit. After 24 hours, shook as much rice out of the technology cracks and low and behold, it is working. It's been 3 weeks and it's still going strong!!!!

This product broke and Pentair customer service cannot tell me when it will be resolved.

I really like this pool cleaner. It is easy to use and does a great job. So why only 2 stars? So it stopped working a week after the warranty expired. It turned out to be a burned out motor. I did an internet search and could not believe the number of posts from people that have had this exact same issue. The cost of a new motor assemble is close to $700. Which makes it tough in deciding to repair it or get something new. I contacted Pentair customer service and credit to them as the agreed to cover the cost of a new motor assembly and I covered the labor as long as I took it to a Pentair authorized repair shop. If I had to buy a new one I would do my research.

The Pentair 920 works very well. Just brush stairs and other hard to get spots to the pool bottom and it will clean the pool bottom. Don't worry about it missing some minor spots as the next time it will get them.Very good value for the money.

I am please with this item easy to use it has a tendency to get stock on the bottom drain if I see it I just turn oss the pump and it get unstuck if I do not see it it usually get unstuck by himself but it does take a while
