Poor quality control
The two parts of the shelf are not machined well enough to be flat and level. When connecting the two pieces the backside are not flush. So when mounting to the wall with the adhesive mounts one side sticks out more than the other and to get enough adhesion against the wall it further separates the shelves and results in one side tilting up (notice the gap between the shelf and the stove is higher on one end).Lastly the staple holes on the front are not covered/sealed which is an eyesore and makes a place for grease from the stove to collect.Update: after waiting 24 hours before putting weight on the shelf indeed the shelf collapsed after putting spices on it. The adhesion is not good if the wood pieces do not align.
