My knee brace was delivered promptly as promised and it fit perfectly. It has given me great support and relief. I would recommend this brace to everyone.

I had a knee sprain from helping my company move. I tried putting the knee up for rest, extended weekend hours of not using the knee, and got some improvement, but then it plateau'd. The lightest use induced some degree of pain, and I re-injured it somewhat, backsliding a little. So, I researched the overwhelming number of open patella knee braces. I was not sure if I strained the ligament or the tendons, and then I found this item that promised comprehensive support that is for less than a severe injury. On the first day I wore it, it prevented pain and I healed over 90%. I was very surprised, and have been keeping it with me "just in case". After about half a week, I feel I need a few more hours of wear, but it already feels great and residual minor pain is gone. I recommend to the manufacturer to add instructions on getting a proper fit, but looking over the closeup photo of the brace on a model explains what goes where well enough. Recommended without reservation!! BTW, I'm 20.5" circumference, so I'm wearing the XX-Large. It is very comfortable over clothing.

After 3 failures with different knee braces, I ordered the McDavid as a last ditch effort. Finally one that works!!!! I have R.A. and there are more and more days when I need the support this brace offers. Even with my arthritic hands, it is easy to get on and off. This brace does not slip or pull on… which with bad hands and a sore knee is a blessing. It completely wraps around. I did have to send the first one back because it was too big. If your size is on the border, I would suggest the smaller size. Return/ replacement was a breeze, tho. One con.. which is easily corrected: They put their hard rubber label where it need to be pulled through one of the strap guards. Problem is it's too big to fit through that guard. Not well thought out on McDavid's part. The fix was easy, but husband just popped the label off. If I wear it on the outside of thin (slippery feeling) slacks, I do find I need to readjust occasionally through the day. Otherwise it stays on & in place all day.

This product fits well and provides firm support. I like that it does not have any seam on the back side so it does not pinch the skin behind the knee when you move. The straps on the top and bottom help to add more support to tendons around knee and also help hold the brace in place while wearing it. The cross straps are a little too much pressure for me right now, so I usually leave them loose. That may be due to my particular injury, as I twisted my knee and cannot stand too much pressure around the knee cap. I am still waiting for the MRI, but pretty sure it's a torn meniscus, in addition to pulled ligaments. For the price, this is a good brace, and really affordable.

This is a secure knee brace that provides good support, but in my case I give it two demerits. Ordered the largest size this comes in, which according to knee size should have fit per the item listing. But if you have "cyclist's legs" or any other kind of muscular leg, note that this will be a VERY snug fit bordering on way too small. Also, turns out the glue used on the rugged-looking rubber ends of the top and bottom straps isn't very rugged at all; the top one separated during first use and couldn't be re-glued (this doesn't affect functionality but also doesn't exude overall confidence in the product's quality).

This last brace was unlike any McDavids product I have used in the past. I have consistently used Mc David's since 2003 and have highly recommended it to family members. I am still using my old pair. The recent ones were returned because the size was smaller than advertised and the material was extremely inflexible.

Merveille de support que cette genouillère McDavid 425, parfaite réponse à mes douleurs persistantes. Ancien basketteur, la pratique de mon sport m'a valu plusieurs blessures endommageant mes genoux. Le droit en particulier m'empêche d'enchaîner les efforts. Après avoir essayé plusieurs alternatives recommandées par kinés, médecins et autres professionnels de la santé, j'ai trouvé mon bonheur avec le petit bijou susdit. Non seulement je peux plier la jambe sans ressentir de pointe, je peux désormais marcher et même trottiner (je n'ose pas encore courir, blocage mental oblige) en me sentant parfaitement protégé et accompagné (ce sentiment d'accompagnement est essentiel en ce qu'on n'a pas à dénaturer la démarche ni faire attention à chaque pas) mouvement après mouvement. Au repos aussi, la genouillère fait le job en enveloppant la zone recouverte sans devenir hypra-collante et suintante comme trop d'autres concurrentes. Seul léger bémol, la zone centrale se rétracte parfois à force de plier/déplier la jambe et finit par entraîner un léger glissement de la genouillère vers le bas. Non que ça m'ait véritablement gêné jusqu'ici, la fixité étant quasi-optimale avec les différentes bandes diagonales. Globalement très satisfait des produits McDavid, car c'est la satisfaction procurée par une chevillère achetée précédemment qui m'a poussé à acheter cette genouillère.

No es barata pero vale cada centavo [si la puedes encontrar en oferta mucho mejor] utiliza las guías para elegir la medida correcta de eso depende mucho que el ajuste sea el necesario. Yo tengo lesión de ligamentos y meniscos y la verdad es que me permite hacer algo de deporte sin casi nada de dolor obviamente dependerá de la condición específica de cada uno pero antes jugaba con 2 elásticas y una mecánica y está sola me da mayor seguridad. Yo la recomiendo mucho

Las recomiendo. Eso sí, asegúrate de dar con tu talla, si no imposible. Te tiene que quedar un poquito justa sin usar los velcros. Después ya la ajustas.
