Hello!One day I was in mood for trying new things and I came across these mochi sweets which I bought in melon and strawberry flavors. I'm not really a mochi fan; tried them before in some Whole Foods version and I was not impressed. But I thought I should be fair and try them in their Japanese version as well before I vote against them full heart. Imagine my astonishment when I tried these sweets and first thought that came to mind was PERFECTION!!!!. Light sweet, light flavor, fluffy like a cloud melting in your mouth. Intriguing interior that makes you want to try just one more. Let me be perfectly clear: these sweets are not designed to "hit the spot". They are designed to show you the next level of happy food!!And did I mention that eating them will not make you feel down or heavy or guilty or whatever bad feeling you might have experienced with other sweets? Yes, no such thing with these delights. Which is probably why all my neurons sang in a coir: ta-ta!!! Perfection!!! :-) Enjoy! :-)

They were ok, I love mochi or Daifuku or however you spell it. And this just wasn’t it. I ordered strawberry and when it came (it did come a day early though) I opened it to try one and they were very soft and fresh but the inside had no taste and was chalky. There was almost not strawberry taste by the mochi itself was quite tasty.

Product is substandard in my opinion. The texture is too soft and sticky for proper mochi and the taste is nothing at all like Strawberry, or fruit of any kind. I am unable to describe it except to say it had chemical overtones.

For the outside texture it was okay the inside texture was not to my liking it might be to others but not to me
