The first time I saw Godshall beef bacon was in Maryland visiting family. I tried it and really liked it. I originally lived in New York and I had no problem finding beef bacon. When I moved to Florida I couldn’t find it anywhere. When I visited Maryland I would buy it and freeze it and bring it back with me. I found a place on line that carried it but it was too expensive. I found it on Amazon over a year ago and unfortunately I bought it from a vendor who obviously tried to save money on the shipping and placed it in a large brown envelope with some a cooler bag. Of course living in Florida the bacon actually was not only not cold it was warm. I used my infrared thermometer and took a picture and sent it to the company. They didn’t give me a hard time and refunded my money. I looked again a year later and saw the good reviews of how well the bacon was shipped. When I checked, the company originally bought it from was still a vendor but I noticed the good reviews came from purchasers who bought directly from Godshall. This shipment came in the appropriate shipping container and wrapped and packed with 5 ice bricks. The outdoor temperature was in the mid 80’s and the bacon was cold.I normally don’t write such long reviews; however, I didn’t want anyone to make the same mistake I made.As for the bacon, sometimes you do get a pack that has more fat content than others. It just depends. I’ve been buying this bacon for a few years now and now I found out how to purchase it at a more reasonable price.

I am allergic to pork and rally missed bacon. This is, by far, the best beef bacon I have had. It looks and cooks just like pork bacon. I tried another brand of beef bacon and I was very disappointed with the “pressed meat”.

It's great bacon, no doubt about that. My only complaint is the price of course, it wouldn't be as bad if shipping was less. I paid 54$ just for shipping.Bacon is a treat in our kosher home, so I don't mind splurging every few months on this delicious food 😊

This is just phenomenal beef bacon! If you’re wanting to get away from pig pork products but freak out when you’re thinking about giving up bacon… this is incredible bacon!!!! I recommend it!❤️💯

For those of us who know that pigs are not food, this is absolutely the best bacon ever. Fries up just like pork bacon, rendering lots of fat and making the bacon nice and crispy. Our family probably spends $300 per year on this stuff! If we're ever out, it's a problem.
