A great monitor for my home office
This monitor looks great. I am using it in my home office and spent a long time researching a good value decent sized monitor that wouldn't show a perceptible drop in quality from my fairly pricey work laptop screen, which it would have to sit side by side with. This has far exceeded my expectations. It is, as far as I could see, the best value monitor for this specification that money van buy.A few notes that may be helpful, based on what my reservations were on ordering. The stand is actually quite solid for what is a cheap monitor for the spec. It isn't height adjustable but it does tilt and, for me, this is a good height anyway. I tested the screen quality next to my work laptop and my own 2015 Macbook Pro and it stands up to both of them (whilst obviously not quite matching the breathtaking Apple retina display, it isn't actually that far off considering the difference in spec). The screen size is fantastic. I can fit two pages on the screen in Word and read them both comfortably. I can't offer any comment on gaming or the like but this monitor has a build quality that I think is impressive for such value. I would highly recommend it.

Very sturdy monitor and excellent screen
Very sturdy monitor and excellent screen. Only negative would be the very small control buttons situated under the bottom edge of the screen which are fiddly, but I am very pleased with this monitor.

Stuck pixels and backlight bleed
This monitor has terrible backlight bleed... on what should be a perfectly black screen, the right hand side is almost white! Also as others have commented, my monitor has 2 stuck pixels... which is very disappointing. Never had this on any monitor I've bought in the past. Also the way the cables connect into the back of the monitor leave very little room, if for instance you are using a DVI to HDMI converter as I am.It is cheap for a monitor, but I can't recommend it based on the above faults.

Admittedly it was a good quality Dell monitor but 12 years
Probably OK for a budget monitor but nothing more, and overpriced at this price. I compared it to my old Dell monitor from 12 years ago and the quality was inferior to the Dell. Admittedly it was a good quality Dell monitor but 12 years! Surely the tech has advanced sufficiently to outdo anything from 12 years ago? Apparently not!

Very pleasant surprise.
I had a Samsung 24" LCD screen for the last 6 years but finally it died.So I started searching for a new one.As I am very interested in photography, both in digital and film, I needed a good but affordable IPS screen.Never had any experience with AOC products before but as soon I was planning to buy it from Amazon I haven't seen any real risk to try. In a worst scenario I would just return it. Also, after reading reviews I was almost sure that the risk should be quite tiny.Delivery was expectedly fast and the screen was connected to my workstation. After few months of use I could say that I saw a better quality of picture but on way more expensive screens. For £100 monitor is totally amazing. Contrast, colours, size - everything is just great. The only downside is that there is no DVI port and my graphic card doesn't support VGA. But it's just a minor problem. HDMI is also fine. :)

Great, simple monitor!
A good all round monitor that is designed for general everyday use but not much more. It has a simple 23.6-inch 1080p display that looks good.It has a very affordable price that it pretty much the best value available. One of the things that may be responsible for the cheap price is the lack of a second HDMI port which could lead to problems in the future. Also, the whole monitor is made of cheap-feeling plastic which is perfectly acceptable for the price. If you are a hardcore gamer or someone who is used to higher resolution screens this monitor probably isn't for you. The screen is good for general use but isn't a high resolution. Gaming on the monitor is fine, but it won't blow you away.In conclusion, a great monitor for simple use like office work but don't expect amazing quality. I strongly recommend it if you are on a budget!PROS:- Decent resolution and refresh rate- Fantastic size screen (23.6 inches!)- Has lots of customization options for the display in the menu- Plug and play- Nice, simple look to the design- TiltsCONS:- Constructed of plastic- The monitor wiggles left to right on the stand- No customizable height- Power cable can slide out easily- Stand looks nasty and cheap

Not Height adjustable
Disappointed that it is not height adjustable and that this is not mentioned in the product details. Overall quality is not great,

It's just OK
It is just OK. Nothing great, nothing completely wrong about about this monitor. I compared it against my other IPS monitors (Dell) and this monitor is very light (in weight). Can't decide if it's good or bad. Just HDMI and VGA display outputs - would harm to have DVI-D and/or Display Port. It shows colours OK - better than any TN but I preferred my Dell (but it was twice the price and came factory calibrated with certificate). don't like the menu, don't like massive bezel. To be honest - I would never pay full price, but as it was on discounted price and I got some vouchers to use, I wouldn't buy any better 24" monitor for ~£65. However in my honest opinion - if you are to pay full price - don't. for £20-£30 more you will get something better.
